The mother who unintentionally mooned a large group of students has received hundreds of messages from guys worldwide since her backside went viral.

After a video of her terrible incident went viral online, 36-year-old Katie Hannaford was left looking red-faced.

Her eight-year-old daughter pleaded with her to participate in the parent fun run at her school, and that is when she fell.

The mom from Basildon, Essex, lines up in the third lane from the left in the hilarious footage as the audience encourages the competitors.

They get off to a terrific start, but Katie loses her balance shortly after and stumbles into the field, sending her bum flying.

Unfortunately, her light blue dress shows her panties for the whole crowd to see when it rises above her head.

As they realize what has happened, several children quickly turn around in the background.

After this incident with up to 500 messages pouring from all around the world asking how she is single, hopeful men are now lined up to date her.

"I've had thousands of messages - at least 500 of them have been from men from Greece to Puerto Rico to Germany and even Australia, saying 'how are you single?' and calling me a 'MILF'," she told the Mirror.

Hannaford told the news outlet that she is laughing and grinning as she deals with her 15 minutes of fame.

"I can't put into words how I feel but I've been loving every minute - I've not stopped laughing since," she said.

"I thought something was on my face the way people stared at me when I was in Tesco yesterday - I had to give myself a reality check and remember why."

The 36-year-old mother claimed responses have been overwhelmingly positive, and many have congratulated her for being an "amazing mum" as the comments keep coming in.

"The best comment I have seen is one that said: 'Don't be a Karen, be a Katie'. I can't take credit, but it's my favourite," she told the Mirror.

She admitted that she has received messages from trolls - but the clumsy mum from Basildon isn't letting them get her down.

"To the haters, there's nothing you can say or do that will hurt or upset me," she said.

"The whole world's seen my bum now, but it is what it is - I can't hide from it. I don't care."

She added: "It's not embarrassing, it's funny - I don't care for drama or conflict, I just want to have fun."

While initially embarrassed, she called the trip one of the 'funniest things' she had ever done.

"I'm not sporty at all, but [my daughter] kept begging me," she said. "In the end I agreed to the race – I knew I'd come last."

The 36-year-old continued: "I just tripped over my own feet – I think my body was just moving too fast for my legs! I'm so clumsy, I'm always falling over," she said.

"I was humiliated at the time, but it is what it is ... definitely the funniest thing I've ever done in my life!"
