This lottery winner decided to don a StarWars character outfit to collect his $95 million jackpot, having dressed up as Sith Lord baddie Darth Vader so that people wouldn't recognize him.

The man only known as 'W Brown' bought his winning ticket earlier this month at the Di Endz Sports Bar in May Pen, a city in southern Jamaica.

After winning an astounding $95 jackpot, Brwon decided to keep secrecy, and Gail Abrahams, the Vice President of Marketing, Communication, and Sponsorship for lottery group Supreme Ventures, presented Brown with his obligatory oversized cheque.

But while Abrahams was donning a face mask, Brown had gone a few steps further and dressed as Darth Vader to collect his prize.

Recalling his winning purchase, Brown says it was a bit of a fluke as he usually goes somewhere else to buy his tickets.

He said: "I don't regularly buy from that place, I usually purchase my ticket in Old Harbour or Spanish Town, but I was on the road so I just stopped there."

He also said he bought the same set of numbers with a few replacements over the past 20 years, saying they were inspired by 'rakes' and meanings that he has come across.

He found out about his jackpot when he watched the live draw on TV, adding: "I wrote down the numbers and saw that I won! I was excited and said, 'Mi finally hol' him now!' I then had a shower and went to sleep."

Brown says he always knew he will win the lottery and it will prove to be life-changing for him.

"Life has always been very rough. I come from a poor family, sometimes I couldn't attend school because my parents didn't have it, but I told myself that God will help me one day so I can help my family," he said.

While Brown would like to buy a house and invest some of the money, at the moment he's not told many people about his jackpot and is still thinking about what to do with it.

"I want to decide what is the best thing to do before spending anything," he said.

"I need to decide what my goals are, but I know I want to own a bus, I love Coasters."
