New York Man's Apartment Is Haunted By A Demonic Baby Coined "Dear David"

I was never a big believer in the supernatural. But, I do remember stories that were told when I was in summer camp about the "Lady of the Lake." Let me start by telling you that I went to an all-girls camp. We often had outings with the boys from the neighboring camp. The legend told was that a girl counselor met a boy counselor one summer. They were to be married at what was called "Mohawk Bridge" at the girl's camp.

The story says that the boy never showed up and the girl committed suicide off of the bridge. They say that during the August thunderstorms which normally flood the bridge, the ghost of the bride to be could be seen hovering over the waters.

I remember one particular storm that was so bad that the entire camp was evacuated to the big dining hall as it was on the highest ground. I remember crossing our flooded bridge and seeing a mist that almost looked like a woman wearing a white dress crossing the waters.

I never screamed so loud or ran so fast before in my life. Do I believe that I saw a ghost? I cannot say for sure. It could have just been a mist or a figment of my imagination. All I can say for sure was that I never walked over that bridge again... I ran!

This story comes from a New York man named Adam Ellis who claims he has evidence of something a lot scarier than a mist on a lake. There seems to be a demonic baby haunting his current apartment, and he has the photos to prove it.

Not only does he claim to have a demon baby haunting his apartment, he has even said the baby has a name. "Dear David."

Adam took to social media to share his tale with the world. Now, he has thousands of followers who eagerly wait for his updates to see what Dear David has been up to lately.

“The first time I saw him, I was experiencing sleep paralysis and saw a child sitting in the green rocking chair at the foot of my bed,” Adam wrote. “He had a huge misshapen head that was dented on one side. I did my best to draw it.”

He goes on to say that he is not only being haunted by Dear David, but he is also trying to kill him. Dear David has even started to appear in Adam's dreams, but the man believes this apparition has crossed over to the real world.

He said, in the beginning, Dear David would just sit and stare at him, but now he is starting to move forward towards the bed. Because Adam suffers from sleep paralysis, he is unable to do anything more than just screaming at the demon baby.

He recounts one of his dreams where a young girl came up to him, while he was in a library, and confronts him about him seeing Dear David.

Adam was determined to prove that Dear David was more than just a figment of his imagination and began recording the supernatural events happening in his apartment.

This photo is of Adam's cat who was caught staring at a glass as the glass moved all on its own. The haunting was getting so bad that Adam moved to the apartment above the one that was haunted, but he was unable to escape Dear David's torments.

Adam decided that if Dear David was truly out to kill him, he could at least get evidence that he exists on his phone. Adam posted these photos on Twitter, and they are truly terrifying!

What makes matters worse is that Adam has not provided any updates since he posted these terrifying photographs. As much as we do not want to believe it, Dear David just may have done poor Adam in for good.

We are just hoping that Adam was, maybe, just spooked into silence for fear of the wrath of the demonic baby.

On a more positive note, not all ghosts are bad. In this video, a ghost of a man can be seen saving a girl's life. It is truly amazing!

As far as Adam goes, we hope he gets a call out to the Ghostbusters and gets Dear David out of his home for good.
