Woman shares series of unhinged and disturbing texts she received from guy after she told him she wouldn't date him.
'Nice Guy' Loses His Mind When Rejected By Woman After Just 3 Dates
Getting rejected sucks but you pick up the pieces, keep an eye on the old self-esteem and move on. Not this guy though. This guy decides to go super saiyan and not in a Goku way, in an early season Vegeta way.
This Redditor shared a series of texts she received from a man 8(!) years older than her when she told him she wasn't quite feeling the spark with him.
She said that her concerns with not wanting to date him simply boiled down to a lack of compatibility and chemistry. She also thought he was only trying to match her opinions and got upset when she tried to playfully tease him.
She left the date early and after their third date, she decided it was time to keep spinning the wheel on this dating game.
Not wanting to lead him on, she decided to clearly let him know there wasn't a chance.
The comments, which are far too intense for someone you only went on three dates with escalate to scary levels as the conversation goes on.
After letting him down rather nicely and wishing him well, he tries to salvage the relationship and asks for another chance. She doubles down and politely says that the two don't have chemistry.
He then immediately goes the self-deprecating route calling himself a loser. She even consoles him at that point and reassures him that he's fine. Then come along, 'I'll never be good enough' and 'You want to be with a guy like me who has great intentions and will do anything for you and is real.'
And if you were counting like me, this man texted her 10 times in a row. Here were are freaking out over double texting.
He went from calling himself a loser to calling himself a king and suggesting that the problem was with OP for not wanting him. This is when OP decided that being patient and kind was no longer working and let him know how he was being hypocritical.
She then woke up the next day to see that he had not given up and continued to text her. She saw the messages on her apple watch and took the screenshots from there. Clearly this man was going through a roller coaster of emotions.
He says that she would have liked him better if he was more sexually aggressive, suggesting that OP was promiscuous, then he suggests that OP met someone else and then whiplashes us into asking OP to hang out as friends.
This man has no inside voice and allows all his inner thoughts to take center stage.
The 'You're all alone in Miami. I care about you.' kind of terrified us.
He went through all the stages of grief across the entire day. Sometimes delulu is not the solulu. It is the problulu.
The man texted her so many times, we're running out of witty commentary to make and are simply so tired on this poor lady's behalf.
It's like a subscription service you didn't know you were signing up for.
Time to hit that block button boo.
We weren't the only ones to notice that age gap. The comment section did too.
Mr Lion King was Simba in his bug-eating era at best.
Others who tried to apply logic to the situation came up with nothing.
