Paige Spiranac Reveals What Keeps Her Guarded At Golf Events With Male Celebrities

Without a doubt, Paige Spiranac is the most well-known golfer in the world.

Millions of people have followed her on social media due to her talents and good looks, but there is a cost.

The 30-year-old former professional claims that whenever she attends an event with male athletes or other male celebrities, she is constantly pursued by explicit rumors.

Spiranac said in an Instagram Q&A on Monday, via the Post:

"One thing people don’t talk about with being a woman in a male-dominated industry, whether it’s golf or the sports industry, is that any time I do content with another man there are rumors and comments, and it’s all disgusting sexual stuff,"

"And so I feel like it prohibits me from participating or being invited to certain events when there are male athletes and male celebrities because of the rumor mill and all of this stuff.”

"It’s just so unfair, and any time I’m pictured with another man … the comments are just gross. 

"It’s really frustrating because I don’t feel like I get to interact with people normally. … I don’t want to start any of those rumors for myself or for them. "

"I just wish people could be normal and realize that here could just be a male-female working relationship with nothing else going on."

Spiranac later stated that she had made every effort to ignore the haters because "no matter what I do, people are going to criticize it."

She added:

"I don’t care what people think about me anymore. ‘Are they going to take me seriously?' No. They never did, and who cares if they do now," 

Spiranac took benefit of the exposure. Fans couldn't help but freak out when she posted a video showing a golf grip last month while wearing a revealing shirt.

She also claims that she has to "report at least 20 fake accounts every single day" and has had to caution her fans of copycat accounts trying to steal money from them.

She earlier claimed that a "Karen" verbally insulted her regarding her attire while she was on the course, leaving her feeling traumatized. 

The former professional claimed that after being singled out by an elderly woman at a country club who believed Spiranac was dressing inappropriately, she was left feeling physically shaken.

After being named Maxim's sexiest woman, she was also harassed by disgusting trolls who called her "fat" and "ugly."

She claimed that while she was a student, a group of girls stalked her and forced her to delete her Instagram and change her identity, which is why she now goes by Paige Renee on the platform.

Spiranac was married to Steven Tinoco but announced about a year ago that the two had split.

Last month, she posted a video teaching a golf grip in a revealing shirt, and fans couldn't contain themselves.
