People who are object ophites do not just have sexual encounters with cars, trucks, trees – whatever, but also they have feelings of intense attraction and love for these objects. Sometimes they have commitment ceremonies or marriages to the object of their affection – they have long-term relationships that span decades and continents. They have breakups and find new loves.
Objectum sexuals often find acceptance in the company of each other and also through loving neighbours and friends. While it seems to me that more of the OS community are women than men, there are also men who love objects more than people, some of them quite prolifically!
Men seem to be drawn strongly to cars, and there are two men on this list who love cars a lot more than you probably do, and refer to themselves as ‘mechaphiles’. For these technophiles, it is not all about love – there are also endless opportunities for one night stands with cars all over the world!
#1 Amanda Liberty: love Statue of Liberty
Amanda Liberty is in love with the Statue of Liberty has paid the landmark a return visit — and said touching it gave her an ORGASM.
And she said: “It was like lightning between us. It was sexually and
emotionally fulfilling. Libby satisfies my lovemaking needs.”
“I was overwhelmed with emotional and sexual excitement.
When I saw her I almost cried.”
Amanda said: “I could feel her hugging me. I cried out, ‘I love you Libby’ and
tourists looked at me strangely.
“I wrote Libby a poem, we cuddled and I spent hours talking to her. I vowed to
be faithful to her and I know she is faithful to me.
“Nothing else matters when I am in her presence, it’s euphoric. She is
currently having work done on her, so she needed me. That’s why I
visited her this time.”
Amanda is also attracted to flags.
She has plans to marry Libby in the future.
Amanda is friends with another self-proclaimed OS woman, Reighner Deleighnie and they are able to offer each other a bit of support that is very much needed in a world that maybe isn’t so tolerant of a sexuality that, after Hall, harms no-one and makes people happy.
#2 Martin Gregory: Sex with a mattress
Martin Gregory was arrested for having vigorous sex with a mattress and watching loud porn in public. Unsurprisingly, Gregory had 72 prior convictions at the time of his arrest

Edward Smith, who lives with his current "girlfriend" – a white Volkswagen Beetle named Vanilla, insisted that he was not "sick" and had no desire to change his ways.
Mr Smith, 57, first had sex with a car at the age of 15 and claims he has never been attracted to women or men.
His last relationship with a woman was 12 years ago - and he could not bring himself to consummate it, although he did have sex with girls in his younger days.
"As far as women go, they never really interested me much. And I'm not gay.”
"I appreciate the beauty and I go a little bit beyond appreciating the beauty of a car only to the point of what I feel is an expression of love," he said.
"Maybe I'm a little bit off the wall but when I see movies like Herbie and Knight Rider, where cars become loveable, huggable characters it's just wonderful.
"I'm a romantic. I write poetry about cars, I sing to them and talk to them just like a girlfriend. I know what's in my heart and I have no desire to change."
He added: "I'm not sick and I don't want to hurt anyone, cars are just my preference."
#5 Davecat: Relationships with ‘organic women’
Davecat and his synthetic wife have been married for 13 years. Her name is Sidore and she cost $5,000.
Davecat finds sex with his dolls very satisfying. The dolls are made so that men can have sex with three orifices and apparently doing so creates quite the suction. Maybe this accounts for the popularity of Real Dolls among the men who have sex with them.
"I bought Shi-chan back in 2000. Admittedly, my reasons for purchasing her were 70 percent sex, 30 percent companionship. I've always been attracted to artificial women such as mannequins, and especially Gynoids, which are robots made in the likeness of human females. In late 1998 one of my best friends, showed me the RealDoll website, as she knew I was keen on artificial women. I thought they were gorgeous creations, and having one would not only dispel loneliness but be excellent for sex as well. And I was right!"
#6 Maria Griffin: Married her truck
Unable to feel aroused by men, Maria Griffin married her truck on Valentine’s Day.
Maria is another woman who is not attracted to humans at all. They leave her cold, and her heart only beats for metal and chrome.

She put a ring on it. Good for her.
#7 Erika Eiffel: Marries Eiffel Tower
Erika Eiffel is a high achieving superhero with skills for days and a fascinating history. While in the US Army Academy, Erika fought off an attempted rapist with an actual sword. She then developed emotional feelings for the sword and was dismissed from the armed forces.
she is fond of the Berlin Wall and she claims to have a physical relationship with a piece of fence she keeps in her bedroom.
But it is the Eiffel Tower she has pledged to love, honour and obey in an intimate ceremony attended by a handful of friends.
She has changed her name legally to reflect the bond.
Erika eventually married the Eiffel Tower, but her relationship with the tower was sullied by a documentary that she felt misrepresented her sexual relationship with the tower and made it look like she was having a sexual encounter when she wasn’t.
Erika turned to the Berlin Wall for comfort, and now, as a tower crane operator is enjoying the promise of a new relationship that might ease the pain that was caused by her breakup with the Eiffel Tower.
#8 Val Theroux: In Love with tree
A retired nurse has made a 7,000-mile pilgrimage from Canada to England for the last five years just to visit a tree.
Val Theroux, 64, is so infatuated with the oak she even found it on Google Earth so she could see it from abroad.
The mother-of-two flies over just to see the tree and gets up early in the morning so she can be alone with it.
Val has always loved and talked to trees, which is good because trees are great and they let us all breathe, so good for trees!
Val has found the tree on Google Earth and looks at it on her computer when she is in Canada.
She said: 'When I first walked in the New Forest I felt that I was home in a way that I never had before.
'I came back the next year with my husband and I've been drawn back to the forest ever since.
'As soon as I walked around the corner and glimpsed my special tree I felt connected to it.
'I think all trees have an energy, like people. But some people are good friends and some are soul mates, that's what this tree is to me.
'I know it like a person. It's like you see a house that appeals to you and you'd remember that.
'I first thought of this tree as a teenager but its character has matured a lot over the last 12 months.'
#9 Lee Jin-Gyu: Marries Pillow
South Korean Lee Jin-Gyu, 28, fell in love with his 'dakimakura,' a gargantuan body pillow he purchased from Japan.
His friend said: "They go out to the park or the funfair, where it will go on all the rides with him. Then when he goes out to eat, he takes it with him and it gets its own seat and its own meal." His friend also added that Lee is "completely obsessed" with the pillow.
Lee recently returned to the spotlight when he traveled to Japan to marry his beloved pillow with the help of an indulgent local priest. He even outfitted the pillow with its own custom wedding dress.
It turns out, however, that the wedding was more of a publicity stunt, as Lee admitted to the press that he’s still unsure about going through with it.
"My love for Fate is unchangeable, but I will take more time to think about our marriage."
#10 Eija-Riitta Berliner-Mauer: Married to Berlin Wall
Swedish woman Eija-Riitta first fell in love with the Berlin Wall when she was seven and saw it on TV. She then began a lifetime of visits, having a commitment ceremony in 1979.
Eija-Riitta Berliner-Mauer, 54, whose surname means Berlin Wall in German, wed the concrete structure in 1979 after being diagnosed with a condition called Objectum-Sexuality.
Mrs Berliner-Mauer, whose fetish is said to have its roots in childhood, claimed she fell in love with the structure when she first saw it on television when she was seven.
She began collecting "his" pictures and saving up for visits. On her sixth trip in 1979, they tied the knot before a handful of guests.
She said: "I find long, slim things with horizontal lines very sexy.
"The Great Wall of China's attractive, but he’s too thick – my husband is sexier."
