A Virgin Atlantic flight attendant recently shared a heartwarming story about two of her passengers who quickly became her favorites.

A thoughtful man and an elderly woman he graciously swapped seats with enjoyed his first-class seat, thanks to his kindness.

In December 2019, flight attendant Leah Amy took to Facebook to recount this uplifting incident, and her post quickly captured hearts, garnering over 4,100 likes and 1,300 shares.

Throughout her career, Leah has met many celebrities, including famous athletes, supermodels, and actors.

However, she declared that these two passengers, whom she named Jack and Violet, were her "favorite passengers EVER!"

As reported by the New Zealand Herald, the duo formed an "instant friendship" at the airport they were departing from.

Jack felt that Violet, an octogenarian, would appreciate his premium seat to New York more than he would.

Leah shared that it was the 88-year-old’s "dream" to experience the front of the plane.

Moved by her dream, Jack decided to make it a reality "out of the kindness of his own heart."

After boarding, Jack exchanged his seat in the upper-class cabin, which is a step above traditional first class, for Violet's economy seat located "directly next to the toilets."

Despite the gesture, Jack kept this kind act to himself.

"[Jack] sat on the row of seats directly next to the economy toilets and never made a peep or asked for anything the rest of the flight," Leah explained.

"No fuss, no attention, literally did it out of the kindness of his own heart, no one asked him to."

Leah also noted that the 88-year-old often flies to New York to visit her daughter, and this particular trip was her first in a long while due to a recent knee replacement.

Violet had always dreamed of sitting at the front of the plane on her trips across the Atlantic, and Jack made sure her dream was fulfilled.

"You should [have] seen her face when I tucked her in her bed after supper," Leah recalled warmly.

Although the elderly lady hadn't given Leah her contact details to share the photos from her memorable flight, Leah planned to send the cherished images by mail.

She also intended to share them on social media.

The story quickly resonated with Facebook users, who hailed Jack as a "true gentleman" and a "wonderful guy."
