In a story as true as it is bizarre, a priest has been accused of stealing upwards of $120k from church funds for his personal use. Those personal uses though, go far beyond the average human being and include sex, drugs and rock & roll.

Francesco Spagnesi had been siphoning money from the church account and by all accounts, his trimming went up to the tune of $120,000.

What was even more scandalous was the fact that he not only took the funds but also used them to import drugs and throw sex parties.

These parties which were thrown weekly on the church’s dime had been going out for the past two years where they would invite people they met online.

When these ‘gay sex parties’ were initially paused due to him being barred from the church account, Spagnesi reached out to his parish directly and asked for cash donations under the guise of charity.

While it is not clear how much he managed to get directly from church-goers, it is estimated to be in the thousands.

The priest said, “the cocaine vortex swallowed me.”

“The drug made me betray my parishioners, it made me tell lies, it made me take actions that I am ashamed of,”

Spagnesi also made the news earlier for falling in love with an author of Sanatic Erotic Fiction.

Spagnesi is reportedly under house arrest and has not yet been charged for drug trading or theft.
