Woman goes on racist tirade calling black restaurant employees “f*cking r*tards” and comparing mask mandates to segregation after being told to put a mask on based on restaurant policy.
Racist Woman Harasses Black Restaurateur Over Masks Calling Them “F*cking R*tards”
A woman and her boyfriend were involved in an altercation at a restaurant by the name of Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles after being asked to put on a mask according to restaurant policy.
The story which was first featured on the Activated Podcast also revealed that the two were now trying to organise a ‘protest’ against the restaurant and its employees.
The incident began with the woman entering the establishment and telling employees that she was exempt from wearing a mask due to a pre-existing condition of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
The hostess then lets her know that due to their policy, she can not allow anyone without a mask to enter the establishment.
The woman however does not back down and says, “Under the 1964 Equal Rights Act, I demand equal access, and I will be calling the police,”
She further threatens to sue the hostess and later claimed on her Instagram saying that she had been discriminated against and assaulted.
“Manager Discriminates and Assaults - Today my Boyfriend and I were discriminated and assaulted by [ a Roscoe’s] manager in Anaheim, California. No business has the right to refuse service based on religion, sex or orientation, race or medical status.”
While the post itself was taken down, the Activated Podcast was able to gather screenshots in this time.
Among the comments was a Proud Boy member who made a racist comment about the black employee in the video.
Commenters were shocked by the absurdity of her argument, especially where she brings up the Equal Rights Act which was put in during the segregation era.
“She brought Black folks not being able to drink from a water fountain as if Black folks were forced to do that because they didn’t wear masks,”
Another user pointed out that whatever the local rules may be, Roscoe's being a private entity could set its own policies.
"Private business gets to decide on their policies for masks. Seems like excellent business practice to protect employees and patrons. #RoscoesRocks 🤟ðŸ¾"
Perhaps it is to be questioned why going out to eat at a restaurant turns into a political debate but that's the world we're living in today.
