Real-life vampire Cristerna says she went through extreme procedures to become a vampire and she is proud of all the changes. However, people should not get inspired by her looks and simply go for it, because extreme body modification is a life-changing process that is something irreversible for forever.
Real-Life Vampire Woman With 49 Body Modifications Warns Others To Not Follow Her Blindly
'Real-life vampire' María José Cristernawarns people about the extreme body modification process and how people should be getting inspired by her body.
Mexico resident Cristerna has almost 50 body modifications and claims that 99 percent of her body is tattooed, leading Guinness World Records to say she is the most tattooed woman in the world.
Cristerna got her first tattoo at the age of 14 and a few years later she earned a degree in criminal law.
The decision to go for extreme body modification also came after her first marriage where she was a victim of domestic violence.
As she decided to modify her body which was a symbol of strength and liberation for her, she went through the most extreme ones, including a split tongue and implanted bumps in her head meant to represent a crown.
Even though she is infamously called a real-life vampire, she, fortunately, doesn't go in for drinking blood like some other individuals who claim they've really magical creatures of the night.
Speaking to Guinness World Records, Cristerna stressed the point that many of the ways people could change their bodies were not reversible, and thus shouldn't be done to keep up with fashionable trends.
She said: "The advice I would give is that you have to think about it a lot as it is irreversible.
"I love the way I look, but you have to understand that there are young people who are very open to tattoos and piercings and everything.
"It’s become fashionable, so we might get to a point where it’s not what we want anymore, and we might not like it anymore. So you have to think about it very hard in order to love it and be able to defend it your whole life."
Getting a body transformation might seem cool in words, but in reality, it is a life-changing experience where the result is irreversible.
While she warned others to think very carefully before making permanent alterations to their body, Cristerna said she'd continue to get more tattoos and modifications for as long as her health allows.
While Cristerna has eye tattoos, she did say they were some of the most painful modifications she had, and the process can be dangerous in some cases.
In fact, one Instagram model who got her eyes tattooed was left blinded for 3 weeks and claims that she cried blue tears for two days after the 'torturous procedure' was completed.
She had to receive four syringe injections into each eyeball, and said it felt like 10 shards of glass had been rubbed into her eye every time she was injected.
