#1 The unfortunate woman named Su, from Huaihua City, Hunan, China had tried to remove it herself but failed and was forced to go to a hospital.
#2 After spotting the cockroach in her ear canal, doctors gave Su local anesthetics before pulling out the insect.

According to ENT specialist, Dr. Meng Jie: "The patient came in complaining of pain in her ear, claiming that an insect had crawled inside it and that it was still moving. We spotted the cockroach deep in her ear canal its legs were still moving and pulled it out after giving [the patient] some local anesthetics."

But it wasn't a comfortable experience for her as the cockroach started wriggling around when they sprayed it with chemicals.
Ms. Su did not suffer any permanent damage after the cockroach was pulled out alive from her ear. However, the experience will probably make her cover her ears whenever she falls asleep.
