Snoop Dogg Turns Out To Be Ultimate Troll As His Announcement To Quit Smoking Turns Out To Be Ad

If Snoop Dogg trolling us in 2023 was on your bingo card, then it's time to strike it off your list because he definitely got us all.

It was just a week ago that Double G announced his decision to quit smoking. If you know anything about Snoop Dogg is that he can give a literal chimney a run for its money. This news had fans confused and wondering if Snoop had been replaced by an alien. 

“After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke,” he posted on all his socials.

He even went as far as to ask people to ‘respect his privacy’ at this time and that he was not going to share his reasons as to why.

Fans were confused and wondered why the sudden change. "Did I miss something? Are you alright Snoop?" 

Well, turns out, it was all just a smokescreen (we made a pun, sue us.)

Then suddenly, on his socials appears a video with Snoop kicking back, relaxing, and roasting marshmallows over a fire pit. To be specific, a smokeless fire pit. That's right, this was all a marketing ploy and we all fell for it.

He says in the ad that he was tired of smoking and "coughing and his clothes smelling all sticky icky." 

He also added in a press release “I love a good fire outside but the smoke was too much. Solo Stove fixed fire and took out the smoke. They changed the game and now I’m excited to spread the love and stay warm with my friends and family.”

Snoop can even be seen smoking in one of the press shots coming up from the brand Solo Stove soon so we can definitely confirm that he has not quite quit smoking.

Fans loved the switch-up with some calling it ‘Genius Marketing’. Another added, 'You had people reevaluating their entire lives over a smokeless stove. Genius' 

And 'Snoop ain't turning down a check. You had me praying for you.'
