TikToker @0utspoken, who goes by Sarah shares a video of herself working at Starbucks back in June. The video went viral and Sarah shares that she is now dealing with the consequences of her sharing that video.
Back in June Sarah shared her frustration when she started working in the service industry. She joined her new job as a barista and had to deal with a highly demanding workload.
Sarah shared a TikTok saying that she was given the busiest shift even though she was a new employee. She shared that she was unprepared for the role and even the location had a broken drive-through. To top it all, the shift was short-staffed, and Sarah just couldn't control her frustration.
“I’m a f-cking failure; I hate this job,” she said. She also confessed that she was “ready to fucking quit already.”
Sarah's old video went viral at the time and got thousands of views and likes.
“I’m at like a 15,” Sarah said. “I can’t do this. I am so done, and I have been here for two-and-a-half f-ckin’ hours.”
In her video, she shares that working in the fast-food industry at Starbucks was her first job in the service sector in 10 years and the manager could clearly see that she was struggling but she was talked through the entire ordeal.
Later she received an apology for the poor training and she felt a little better about her situation.
Sarah said, “It’s time to go forward, and that support helped.”

She then shared that one of her co-workers told her boss about the video and she had to take the video down before facing any consequences. However, things didn't end here.
Sarah claims that she stood up to a co-worker who was “harassing and bullying” her, after which she was fired from her job. She says that “mornings were ALWAYS short-staffed and the morning were ALWAYS crazy busy.”
Under her video, many other people working for Starbucks agreed that “It’s a horrible place to work.”
Many people referred to Sarah’s experience as an example of why lower-wage workers were quitting around the country.
