We all know that the police spend most of their days chasing down bad guys and enforcing law and order. That is basically all they are really trained to do. However, every now and then, they come across some really strange cases. When this creepy old Victorian rocking horse appeared, the police were called to find its owner. The sudden appearance of this rocking horse was only made even stranger by a note attached addressed to one "special little girl."

The creepy children's toy was found in Surrey, England. A woman found it in her backyard thinking it could easily have been an old prop from a Mary Poppins movie. She woke up to find the old rusty toy dumped next to a tree with an unsettling note attached to it. The note implied that the rocking horse was to be a gift, but for who? She called the police to help her figure that out.

The note says, “To a special little girl love from Sophie. ‘Cos we agreed and I blessed you and you/me.” Despite the bizarre situation, the police have taken this very seriously and have launched a full investigation into the disappearance of the rocking horse.
Locals are invested in knowing how it came to be placed in this woman's backyard and are scared that it could become a regular occurrence. No one wants creepy toys dumped off in their yards.

The note is quite cryptic. No one knows what exactly was "agreed" upon. Was it the gifting of the horse? We wonder who would agree to accept such a creepy old rusty toy that looks like it should have hit a dumpster decades ago.
The whole thing is quite a mystery, but the police are bound and determined to get to the bottom of it.

The police posted an appeal to the public on their Facebook page hoping to get any information regarding this strange toy and its owner. It states, “Are you eagerly anticipating the delivery of an old style rocking horse and it hasn’t yet turned up or has your old style white rocking horse been recently stolen?
A local resident in Camberley opened her curtains to find the rocking horse placed under the tree outside her front door with a note on it which featured the name ‘Sophie’.
Finding the ordeal a little bit spooky she reported it to us in case it had been reported stolen or in the event that somebody was horsing around in the NEIGHGGGbourhood. If this belongs to you, send us a DM.”

While it may be a long shot, the Surrey police are hopeful to get to the bottom of the mystery of the rusty old rocking horse.
