#2 More Female Teachers are Becoming Predators

There has been a series of news stories about female teachers having sex with their students over the decades.

The United States Department of Education's most recent study (in 2004) on sexual predators, revealed that 40 percent of perpetrators of unwanted sexual attention toward children were women and that number has steadily risen over the past nine years.

#3 Caroline Berriman

Caroline Berriman, a 30-year-old teaching assistant in Greater Manchester, England, has been accused by one of her students of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with him. The unnamed 15-year-old student said that over the course of two months, the two had unprotected sex "50 times" and Berriman later claimed that she was pregnant with his child.

#4 Scarred for Life

He says that she groomed him over Facebook, let her daughter call him ‘dad' and even told him she was pregnant. Speaking about the pregnancy claim, the student said "Stuff like that has scarred me for life."

When the student told Berriman that his mother had found out about their affair she allegedly attacked him, claiming that she would lose her daughter. The teenager says that she showed up at his house with £20,000 in cash and begged him to run away with her.

Berriman admitted to having sex with the boy, but somehow still avoided jail time, instead receiving 250 hours of community service, a two-year suspended sentence, and a restraining order against the boy.
