Taylor Swift seems to be letting fans into a side of her relationship that’s far more personal than usual — and honestly, it’s left many people both amused and shocked. Her new lyrics appear to give a pretty intimate glimpse into her love life with NFL star Travis Kelce, and they’re definitely on the steamy side.

It’s safe to say, this is more than some fans ever expected to know about their favorite power couple.

The pop icon dropped her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Friday (October 3), marking another huge moment in her already record-breaking career.

While one of the tracks on the album reportedly takes aim at her rumored feud with Charli XCX, another song is drawing even more attention online.

That’s because many listeners believe it’s directly inspired by her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The pair famously began dating in the summer of 2023 after Kelce tried to get Swift’s attention during one of her Eras Tour shows in Kansas — and as fans know, his bold move paid off.

The couple went public a few months later, in September, when Swift was spotted cheering him on at one of his Kansas City Chiefs games. Since then, the two have been inseparable, appearing at events, games, and even on each other’s platforms.

Swift even teased the release of The Life of a Showgirl during an appearance on Kelce and his brother Jason’s podcast, New Heights, which only fueled more speculation among fans about whether he would be mentioned on the album.

After the album’s release, reports claimed Kelce surprised Swift with a proposal, whisking her away right after the big moment — proving that their love story really does sound straight out of one of her songs.

Her previous album, The Tortured Poets Department, delved into her situationship with The 1975’s Matty Healy and her long-term relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, while also hinting at her budding romance with Kelce through the playful, all-American track So High School.

But this time, she’s gone a lot further with the ninth track on the new record, called Wood — and just from the title alone, fans had a pretty good idea of what it might be about.

As it turns out, the song’s lyrics seem to leave little to the imagination. Many believe Swift is openly referencing her fiancé’s, well... manhood, in a way that’s both cheeky and bold.

In the post-chorus, she sings: "He ah-matized me and openеd my eyes/ Redwood tree, it ain't hard to see"

"His lovе was the key that opened my thighs."

It’s a lyric that caught nearly everyone off guard, but plenty of fans couldn’t help but laugh and celebrate her confidence. Good for her, right?

The double meanings don’t stop there though, as she continues with another line that’s just as suggestive: "The curse on me was broken by your magic wand (Ah)."

At one point, Swift even seems to give a direct nod to Kelce’s own podcast, adding a bit of humor to the otherwise steamy track. She sings: "Seems to be that you and me, we make our own luck/"

"New heights (New heights), manhood (Manhood)/I ain't got to knock on wood."

So yes — between the wordplay and the clear references, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out who inspired this song.

As soon as fans heard the song, social media lit up with reactions, and it’s safe to say everyone had a lot to say about it. Many joked that Kelce should be proud — and maybe even make the most of the moment.

"If I'm Travis Kelce, 'Wood' is my alarm clock, my ring tone, my walk up song," one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Travis Kelce entering the chiefs facility after they blasted Track 9 of The Life of a Showgirl through the speakers," added another, pairing their post with a hilarious GIF of Drake confidently walking through a stadium as fans screamed around him.

"Ummmm I just finished a first listen of 'Wood' and in the rare event I ever meet Travis Kelce in person I will not be able to look that man in the eye," a third person admitted, perfectly summing up what most Swifties are probably feeling right now.
