Teen Girl Is Disowned By Her Family After Running Off With A Man 33 Years Older Than Her

This is 19-year-old Michaela Matson who is in a relationship with a man who is 33 years older than she is. As you can guess, many people are skeptical about his intentions. After all, he is old enough to be her father and she is barely an adult.

The young woman says that she just plain and simply fell in love with the truck driver. Michaela is studying photography in college and says that there is nothing shameful about her relationship. She says it is just like any other happy and healthy relationship.

So, I bet you are wondering how this older man managed to get himself such a young pretty girl. Apparently, they met on a 'venting app' that allows users to complain about their lives to total strangers, back in 2016. Even though it is not a dating app, the couple says "sparks flew instantly" and the rest is history.

Michaela says that when she first saw William's picture that she thought he was incredibly handsome and was instantly attracted to him. "I liked his nose, it’s cute and crooked because his mom broke it as a child – then he has the most gorgeous light brown eyes that are completely breathtaking."

After a couple of months of online chatting, the couple decided to finally meet up, and when they did, the chemistry between the two could not be denied. However, the chemistry between the pair was not good enough for Michaela's parent. They demanded that she end the relationship with the much older man. Even though Michaela is technically an adult, her family took her passport away and forced her to see a therapist.

Michaela says that she knew her family would not approve of their relationship. That is why she kept it a secret for such a long time.

She had planned on going to see her older beau without telling her parents. She planned on just leaving a note for them to find, but William would not have it. He insisted that she tell her parents even though she had a bad feeling about how they would react. Her father was more upset than she had ever seen him. He threatened to disown her if she did not immediately end the relationship with William.

But, Michaela was not going to just let her relationship with William end because her family disapproved. She went ahead and got herself a new passport and moved from her home in Nebraska to Alberta, Canada to be with her man.

"Because I had given my mom my passport after telling my parents about what should have been my vacation with William, I had to apply for a new one and set aside money for myself to move in with him. But as soon as I saw him at the airport I dropped my luggage and ran." She says she was overcome with emotion finally seeing her guy face to face. Now, the couple is planning on getting married even though there are so many people against their relationship.

She says that being with William feels like home. He recently asked her to marry him and says that she could not have asked for a better man to be her husband. The pair is hoping to get married next August or September. In the meantime, they are hoping that her family will come around and accept the pairing.
