"Tennis star Serena Williams gives birth to a baby girl weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Mom and baby doing well."

Getting ready for her U.S. Open match on Sept. 1, Serena's sister Venus spoke with ESPN about becoming an aunt:

Serena accidentally announced her pregnancy back in April by posting a photo of her baby bump on Snapchat, including the caption, "20 weeks."

She soon confirmed the pregnancy, later revealing that she'd be taking some time off from tennis. However, Serena's expected to resume her pro tennis career sometime in 2018.
