Terminally Ill Woman Gets Her Dying Wish To Ride Harley Davidson Bike Fulfiled With Help From A Biker Group

This great grandmother is terminally ill and suffering from two types of cancers. It was her lifelong wish of going on a ride on a Harley bike. Trying her luck, this woman's daughter called out social media to help fulfill her dying mother's wish. However, little did she expect that she will get an overwhelming response from hundreds of strangers reaching out to help fulfill her wish in a grand and possibly the most beautiful way.

#1 Anne got to fulfill her lifelong wish of riding the famous American motorbike

This terminally ill great grandmother did not even imagine in her dream that riders from all over the UK would gather outside her house to honor her dying of riding on the back of a Harley Davidson.

Anne Turner, 83, had wanted to ride one of the famous American motorbikes all her life and, thanks to a call out on social media from her daughter Rachael, she got to fulfill her lifelong wish.

#2 Rachel was left speechless when so many people reached out to offer help

Anne's daughter Rachel was left dumbfounded when she received a response in form of calls and messages from hundreds of riders and was left speechless when around 60 of them turned up to her mother's home in Balham, south London.

The happy woman got to try four different bikes before picking one and going for a spin, albeit on the back as a rider safely drove to nearby Tooting Common and back again, to cheers from a gathering crowd of dozens. She was also made an honorary member of the Hells Angels and 'knighted' with one of their t-shirts.

#3 "Today's been absolutely brilliant, people have been so kind"

Having finished her ride, Anne said: "Today's been absolutely brilliant, people have been so kind."

"You hear horrible things that go on in the world, and then you hear something like this. So there are more good than bad people.

"I don't call them Hells Angels, I call them knights of the realm."

 

Rachel says she is still overwhelmed by the response she got from so my people offering to lend a helping hand.

#4 Her wish got fulfilled in the most beautiful way

"My phone was going crazy, I had hundreds upon hundreds of messages offering to come, it was mad" she said.

The emotional daughter says her mother always wanted to ride a Harley bike and her wish got fulfilled in the most surprising and beautiful way and the moment was everything she'd hoped for.

"She was crying, she was laughing, people were cheering her name, she was so happy she got to do the one thing she wanted" her daughter said.

"We thought she was only going to be able to sit on one, but she managed to go for a ride. She said it was the most amazing experience she ever had."

#5 Heartwarming to see people coming together for another person so selflessly

The beautiful event sadly came when Anne is suffering from two types of cancers and her condition is deteriorating badly and is now bed-ridden.
