Starbucks probably wishes they had thought about it first because this new instant coffee promises to give men an instant erection. The only problem? It can last 2-3 days.
#1 New Morning Brew
A new instant coffee may be an awkward choice of morning beverage on your desk every morning at the office, especially if you get called to an impromptu staff meeting.
#2 Rise And Grind
If you've ever thought to yourself, "Man, I wish my coffee would do something other than just wake me up and stimulate my bowels," you're in luck! There's a new coffee that does a lot more than just that.
#3 Stiff Bull Instant Coffee
Behold Stiff Bull, the instant coffee that won't just make you perky, it'll make your penis perky, too. This magical java promises to give you a boner with every cup you drink. You know, for those times your morning wood isn't at its woodiest, or for coffee dates that need a little extra pizzazz.
#4 The Relationship Saver
The new morning drink mix is marketed by the Maryland-based company, Stiff Bull, who claim the brew is "Viagra-like" and will stimulate your sex life with its bold advertising campaign that says it's "the relationship saver". However, the product is also facing some 'stiff' regulations. The coffee was originally manufactured and sold in Malaysia before making its way to the USA.
#5 It Contains A Prescription Drug Similar To Viagra
The Food and Drugs Agency (FDA) aren't very keen on the new beverage mix. They've recently added Stiff Bull to their list of ‘Tainted Sexual Enhancement Products'. The main problem is that it contains the Viagra-like drug, desmethyl carbodenafil, which is not listed among the ingredients. That may be because that's the only ingredient that requires FDA approval.
#6 The Side Effects Could Be Hazardous
And while there's no proof the ingredient will give you an erection, it could do you harm: "This undeclared ingredient may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels," the FDA warns in its advisory. Low blood pressure can cause dizziness, fainting, blurred vision, nausea, and worse. The same effects given from Viagra, which is why a prescription is required for it.
#7 Some Ingredients Are Natural Libido Enhancers
The packaging for the US product says that Stiff Bull is an all-natural herbal coffee made using a proprietary blend of ingredients like Tongkat Ali, maca root, and guarana. Two of those three ingredients are also found in natural testosterone boosters and libido enhancers.
#8 Malaysian Products Are Tainted
Stiff Bull is made in Malaysia. It's packaged by a company named Worldgate Vision Beverage Sdn. In America, it's distributed by a company named Stiff Bull LLC, based in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. One packet costs around $13.00. The Government has also issued widespread warnings on any edible or herbal items from Malaysia and nearby locales stating that one in every five tested proved to be tainted.
#9 It's Still For Sale Because It Only Works Occasionally
For now, however, the product is still for sale, but with an FDA warning. Tests have shown that the erection can last for up to 3 days with the consumption of just one cup, but the results were flimsy, as only 2 in 25 packages tested giving the desired results. The FDA issues over 100 warnings each year on products that claim to enhance erectile dysfunction or sexual activity, so there's no proof that this coffee even does any java-voodoo to make your penis magically harder with each sip.
