There are plenty of us who have dreams of pursuing a job in the toy industry. Every one of us has hoped to be just like Tom Hanks in the 1988 movie, 'Big.' He landed the best job in the world as a toy tester, sadly most of us had to resign to the fact that playing with children's toys won't exactly pay the bill.

However, as a kid, you dream could come true. Ryan, the star of 'Ryans ToysReview' on YouTube earns $14.6 million a year by reviewing the latest and greatest toys.

This little guy has more than 10 million subscribers. He is also ranked number eight in Forbes' list of the ten highest earners on YouTube even though he only started his channel two years ago. Before starting his own channel, the tiny tot would watch endless hours of toys reviews with a preference towards Thomas the Tank Engine.

One day he asked his mother why he was not on YouTube like all the other kids. With that, his mother took him to the store to get his first toy to review. She says that she thinks it was a Lego train set, and it all started from there.

Having his own channel has also been a great way for him to stay connected to his extended family that does not live in the US. Through his channel, his family is able to watch him grow up and get to know him despite being so far away. Ryan often appears in videos with his parents who help him to demonstrate the games that require two or more players.

Overall, Ryan's YouTube account has almost 17 billion views with his most popular video having over one billion views. According to his family, Ryan's viewers are mostly children aged between three and seven years old and located in the US.

He has become so successful that Ryan's mother quit her job as a chemistry teacher to devote more time to helping Ryan with creating his videos. They plan to keep making videos until Ryan gets bored and are very careful to be sure that the videos do not interfere with his studies.

"Right now, he loves making videos," his mom said last year. "Every time I tell him we’re going to film, he gets so excited. As long as he’s loving it and it doesn’t disrupt his daily routine, we plan on continuing. But the moment he’s not having fun anymore, that’s when it will be time to stop."
