The corpse-like face of Sahar Tabar has pretty much taken over the internet over the last few weeks. The Iranian teen had supposedly received 50 cosmetic surgeries in a botched attempt to look like her idol, Angelina Jolie. In the past week alone, this girl has been talked about more than Angelina Jolie herself. Tabar's story set the internet off on a furious debate after images of her 'cosmetically enhanced' face started circulating the web. People are asking, is it real? Did she fake this whole thing? And what respectable surgeon in their right mind would do this to someone so incredibly young?

Many people were adamant that the young woman was faking her look through makeup and Photoshop. Others thought her look appeared to be real. All while we played guessing games and worried about this young woman, Tabar stayed silent.

She did make an Instagram post that basically said that the critics were just plain jealous of her look. "I must say I did not have 50 surgeries, and foreign sites and channels were very biased in the way they talked about my photos," she wrote. "I thought these people are probably living in the 18th century and they haven’t seen or heard of technology or makeup and they are really surprised."

Not long after posting her comment, Tabar made her Instagram private so only her current 400,000 followers could see any of her posts. Her statement, however, was just not enough to stop the cruel comments that she was getting. The more her story went viral, the more bad comments came in. She finally decided to take action and end the public scrutiny.

Tabar spoke to a Russian news outlet called 'Sputnik.' She wanted to reveal the whole truth, but some already knew what she would say. She finally confessed that her Tim Burton-esque appearance was 100% faked. She says she was bored so she doctored the images.

She even supplied a bunch of pictures of what she actually looks like without the enhancement. She says that she can see that she has some traits in common with Jolie, but it is simply a passing resemblance.

Tabar says while she likes to amuse herself, looking like another person is not her goal. "This is Photoshop and makeup. Every time I publish a photo, I paint my face in an increasingly funny way," she revealed. "It is a way of expressing yourself, a kind of art. My fans know that this is not my real face."

The young woman does admit that she has had a few plastic surgeries but nothing near as dramatic as what her Instagram photos suggest. She says that she has had work done on her nose, her mouth enlarged, and liposuction.

She also wants to set the record straight about her reported weight loss. She says that she has lost weight but only 5-7 kg, not the 30-40 kg loss that has been reported. She claims her weight is 54 kg.

When she was asked how her family feels about her surgeries and her viral fame she says, "For them, plastic surgery is not the norm. But now that everything has already happened, my parents support me completely. And this is the most important thing." Tabar says that the most important things in life are the approval of her God and family. The opinions of others do not phase her.
