1. Barnabas Collins from Dark Shadows.

Take a closer look. Now closer See Johnny Depp? Not yet? That's because of that hilarious layer of makeup covering his face. Otherwise, he would be quite alright.

2. Bill Compton from True Blood.

In the past his voice would send shivers up and down many women's spines. Time flies, though, and he is no longer what he used to be. Some find the way he looks in his center part of a vampire god or whatever you call it absolutely ridiculous. Is it him or the center role to blame? He has been included in the list of the top 12 hottest vampires which proves that he still has his fans.

3. Blade from Blade.

No doubt he is hot. If I didn't know he plays a vampire, I might include him in the list of the top 12 hottest basketball players well, this is the first thing that comes to my mind every time I see his horrible geometric haircut carved in his scalp. Unless as well as being a vampire he is also into sports? We do not know that for sure, that's the prob.

4. Dracula from Dracula.

Some sort of trade-off, I guess. Jonathan Rhys Meyers with his American accent is not what is needed on this show. However, his outfit there is cool. Congrats on being in the list!

5. Lestat de Lioncourt from Interview with the Vampire.

His enigmatic glare, wavy frills, and flowing blond hair. Let's admit, quite a romantic interpretation of someone who is supposed to suck blood to survive.

6. Jasper Hale from Twilight.

You do not like his girly looks? Then listen to him when he talks about the Civil War and his dark past. The episode might change your whole perspective on him.

7. Elijah Mikaelson from The Vampire Diaries/The Originals.

Were it not Elijah Mikaelson, I wouldn't waste my precious time on the Originals. He is the only character that makes the whole movie worth watching.

8. Edward Cullen from Twilight.

He is cool in general, but a couple of drawbacks are present. Look at his hair and eyebrows and you'll get what I mean. Oh, and another hour or two at the gym wouldn't hurt, either.

9. Stefan Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries.

He would definitely be regarded by many a girl as boyfriend material. Still, most can do without him alright. Vampires are expected to be rougher than that. What makes vampires interesting and unique is that they are supposed to bite rather than be sentimental and emotional. If some day vampire fans want something different, they will switch to drama.

10. Louis de Pointe du Lac from Interview with the Vampire.

Those who like Brad Pitt will love his every character and Louis de Pointe du Lac is no exception. There is a hint of emo in all this, though, don't you think so?

11. Akasha from Queen of the Damned.

She is truly incredible. That's the sort of vampires that are too hard to resist. The above mentioned blokes are far behind.

12. Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries.

Here comes the best of the best. Keep calm and adore Damon Salvatore. That's the perfect combination of character and looks. Quit looking for a better vampire, you'll find none.
