While nature has brought us tons of amazing creatures, there are some that are just downright bizarre and terrifying. Australia is chock full of creatures that keep many of us from visiting. However, some of the most terrifying and bizarre creatures are of the sea, not land. We have gathered some of the craziest looking sea creatures and some just might give you nightmares.

Kiwa Hirsuta

This freaky creature looks like a hybrid of a crab and a furry spider. It has been nicknamed the "Yeti Crab" or "Yeti Lobster." It is a crustacean that can be found in the South Pacific Ocean and measures up to 15 cm in size. So, it is not very big, but you might freak out if you saw it in person.

Red-Lipped Batfish

This is a deep sea fish that is known for the ability to swallow fish that are larger than he is.
