#1 We All Know The Story Of The Titanic

Everyone knows the story of the Titanic. It was the "unsinkable" ship that set sail in 1912, only to hit an iceberg and sink 4 days later. Many passengers died.

#2 They Didn't Build Lifeboats

Shipbuilders were so confident that the Titanic would not sink that they didn't even bother to build enough lifeboats. They only had half the amount needed to evacuate the passengers. They claimed the lifeboats would only be necessary to rescue other sinking ships.
