If you are the type that deals with arachnophobia I highly suggest you avoid this story. You might end up traumatized. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Lekshmi of India went to the hospital after she ended up suffering from severe headaches. After the doctor checked her over he found a creepy little spider that had made itself at home in her ear.

To quote the great George Takei, ‘Oh my’.
There is so much I want to say right now like first off; ‘How the hell did that thing get in there?’. Secondly, if I was the doctor and she was my patient I would just flat out tell her "this is beyond my pay grade" only because it's just freaking weird.

The picture below shows the disgusting moment that the living spider is filmed crawling out of Lekshmi's ear canal.
The whole disturbing thing was filmed by surprised doctors who were treating the woman who just complained of a tingling sensation inside of her head and a severe headache.

Lekshmi went to sleep on her veranda and woke up to a severe headache accompanied by a very painful right ear blockage.
The doctors treating her discovered the little critter and did what they could to convince it to come out.

You can see the spider slowly coming out of her ear as it follows the light.
Columbia Hospital Dr. Santosh Shivaswamy said: “It is common to see emergency room visits due to the presence a foreign object in the ear and it takes a simple procedure to remove the object."

Dr. Shivaswamy continued by saying: “However when a living insect makes its way inside a human ear, the patient’s anxiety makes it difficult to continue the procedure. It was a rare to see a live spider moving inside someone’s ear canal.”

The startled Lekshmi told reporters: “I was terrified as I could feel the movement of a creature in my ear. The acute earache followed by sharp pains suffocated me. I couldn’t think of anything and was petrified when the doctor confirmed the presence of a spider in my ear.”

To be honest, the exact minute that the little spider climbs out of her ear, I could just feel a cold shudder that traveled all the way down my spine.
Dr. Shivaswamy told The Indian Express that it was pretty normal for people to come to the hospital because of strange objects being lodged in their ears but this case was the first of it's kind for everyone who dealt with it.

I totally cannot blame Lekshmi for reacting the way she did to discovering that a spider was in her ear. Had it have been me, I would have fainted as soon as I was told.
I'm totally not scared of spiders but I just don't want them crawling around in my head.
Should you happen to find a spider somewhere that it doesn't belong please don't do what this idiot in the video below did and try to murder it with a blow torch.

Apparently, dude flipped out when he took a blowtorch and tried to kill all the spiders living underneath his trailer. He ended up burning down his house. Don't let this be you.
One thing is for sure, the spider population is on the rise all over the globe so people should probably get used to them being around. I for one think that it's better to accept them now rather than later when they take over the world.
You can see the video of Lekshmi's horrible experience on the next page.
