A nanny cam caught the moment a cheeky toddler started swinging from the chandelier while her mum thought she was sleeping soundly during nap time.

The clip, filmed in Edgewater, Maryland, shows three-year-old Elsie climbing up onto the bed frame before grabbing hold of the ceiling light and swinging around, while her twin sister is busy in doing her thing.

#2 Performing stunts after bedtime

Like a pro, the little girl swiftly swings back and forth on the chandelier while standing on the bed frame and very easily jumps off the bed and then joins her sister in playing games.

After seeing the clip, Elsie's mum made the decision to remove the chandelier, probably for the best given the antics of this budding daredevil.

The twins' mum uploaded the short clip to TikTok, writing: "After converting my twins' cribs to 'big girl beds', I quickly realised it was a mistake.

"I could hear a noise coming from the girls' nursery during their nap time so I pulled up my Arlo Security app and realised one of my twins, Elise, was swinging from the chandelier.

"Thankfully she wasn't hurt but the chandelier was immediately removed. This is just one of many reasons why I can't have nice things anymore.

"My girls still ask for their chandelier but I'd be willing to bet their reason isn't for utility."
