A trans woman who stabbed her ex-lover and boyfriend with a kitchen knife will be carrying out her sentence in a male prison. The incident occurred in the UK after she caught them in the act and proceeded to attack them in a drunken rage.
Susan Cuthbert, a transgender woman was arrested for stabbing two men in an act of revenge.
She was driven to attack the two in an alcohol-induced rage where she caught her current boyfriend cheating with an ex-lover.
Susan, 51, from Saltburn by the Sea caused abdominal injuries to one victim, rupturing his bowels.
The victim is still recovering from injuries a month later. The other victim also sustained deep cuts and injuries.
Susan has now pleaded guilty to the charges of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and was sentenced to prison time of 5 years and four months.
She is to serve that sentence in a male prison.
Susan had introduced the two men to each other. One was a neigh out while the other was an ex-lover. She had maintained a sexual relationship with both victims at different times.
It was when the two got together that tempers flared leading to a violent altercation in the kitchen.
She then proceeded to call another friend, showing them the knife they had committed the act with.
The police arrived and subdued her with a taser in order to carry on with the arrest.
Cuthbert had said that she had caught the two mid-intercourse but had no memory of the proceeding events.
The presiding judge had this to say, “You introduced both men and they, it seems, became close. Naturally there became some tension.
"Whatever had taken place had made you angry, the argument it seems became more than an argument, it became violent."
