The First Lady, Melania Trump recently revealed the renovated garden of White House, and the public was surely horrified to see the results and was quite angry after learning that the First Lady has taken down many plants and trees which held great historical importance and has replaced them with bland colors. Internet ridiculed Mrs. Trump for her choice of colors and flowers making the place look like a 'cemetery' or a lifeless 'parking lot.'
Twitter Is Far From Impressed With Melania Trump’s White House Rose Garden Renovation

President Kennedy in 1961 came up with the idea of Rose Garden at the west end of the White House, the garden has become an icon by itself.
Designed by the gardener Rachel Lambert Mellon, the beautiful garden was home to all sorts of colorful flowers including tulips, magnolias, cherry trees, roses, tulips, and other botanical beauties. Both harmonious and subtle, it has framed the view toward the Cabinet Room and the Oval Office and reflected every changing pattern of American history.
The First Lady recently revealed the new look of the White House garden and the American public was horrified with the pictures. The redesign received strong backlash on social media with people far from impressed with the results. The internet dubbed Melania’s makeover “#RoseGardenMassacre,” comparing the result to a lifeless "parking lot" or "cemetery." The hashtag is now trending and the Internet has a lot to say about it.

The White House is not Versailles but Melania is a lot like Marie Antoinette. https://t.co/2SkQoJ0F6Y

I'm an avid gardener and conservationist. But here's some non-political feedback. And I've never tweeted to the WH, POTUS, or FLOTUS until right now. This is terrible. Removing pollinator trees and replacing with so much lawn is so bad ecologically. This makes me sad.

If this isn’t a Marie Antionette moment I don’t know what is. Who cares about a redesigned rose garden when we’re in the middle of a pandemic, 175k+ people are dead and millions are out of work? https://t.co/x5APCx4bGv

What Melania Trump has done to the Rose Garden can never be forgiven. She literally gutted Jackie Kennedys garden tribute to her husband, JFK. That Rose Garden was part of our history and she destroyed it. pic.twitter.com/zMuv4tILtC

I’m interested every time the White House reveals some newly decorated space that seems to capture Melania’s joyless screaming-on-the-inside aesthetic.
