UK PM Boris Johnson Tests Positive For Coronavirus

According to a secret Public Health England (PHE) briefing for senior NHS, officials reveal the coronavirus epidemic in the UK may last till the spring of 2020 and the virus can lead to a huge strain on the health officials in Britain. The document as seen by Guardian also reveals that as many as 80% of Britains will get affected by the virus.
The document says, “As many as 80% of the population are expected to be infected with Covid-19 in the next 12 months, and up to 15% (7.9 million people) may require hospitalization.”
Now the UK PM Boris Johnson has revealed to the public that he has also tested positive for coronavirus and is currently practicing self-isolation.

A statement from the PM on Twitter reads;
"Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus. I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus. Together we will beat this. #StayHomeSaveLives"

Piers Morgan tweeted immediately after the news, writing;
"BREAKING: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tested positive for Coronavirus. Now self-isolating at No10, but will still handle Govt. handling of crisis. Wish him well, and also wish he gets our NHS health workers the same test - fast."
