Vacaville Bagel Shop Employees Quit Together After The Manager Was Unfairly Ousted

Bre Kowalski, manager of Noah's Bagels in Vacaville, CA, took her lumps calmly when she found she was just being suspended because of customer dissatisfaction. When she returned home, she discovered that the employer had decided to issue her final salary without any notice or discussion.

The complaint of the customer that prompted the suspension also appears to have never happened, while she was fired for an entirely separate matter that took place while she was not even in the shop.

This was presumably the defining moment for each and every Kowalski's employee (who had all already expressed dissatisfaction with the work for other issues), and chose to resign in protest.

The store lost 16 workers all at once, an episode that has subsequently gone viral and resulted in multiple news reports.
