Social media is not just a platform for the commoners, but for the celebrities as well. People tweet, share their thoughts and photos on Instagram, Facebook, and other such platforms.
Fans also love to re-tweet and share their posts, but sometimes they make funny and crazy mistakes, too.
Here are some of those blunders:
Charlie Sheen – Tweets Personal Phone Number
Scandalous Charlie Sheen stirs trouble everywhere he goes, so it's not surprising when he posts something inappropriate online. Sheen has a full bag of twitter mistakes, from insulting his daughter's alleged bullies, to mocking Ashton Kutcher for taking over his role on Two and a Half Men and sending nasty messages to his ex's publicly. The list is endless and people are no longer surprised by his scandals. However, he made a huge mistake when he accidentally tweeted his personal phone number while trying to send it to Justin Bieber. He had to disconnect it shortly after receiving millions of calls and texts.
Kim Kardashian - Spells Armani's Name Wrong
Kim took to twitter to complain for foundation being discontinued, but she misspelled Giorgio. She wrote "why did Georgio Armani discontinue my favorite foundation??? I'm on my last bottle and everyone I know uses this!!! Please make it again! Armani replied with @KimKardashian, "Dear Kim let us know which one you need and we'll send you. And Mr. Armani's first s Giorgio".
Scott Disick - Copy Pastes An Email For A Product He Doesn't Like
Scott put a photo of this when he doesn't even like it. He simply copy-pasted an email that was sent to him with the caption, ‘here you go, at 4pm EST, write the below, caption: keeping with the summer workout routine with my morning@Booteauk'
Khloe Kardashian - Photoshops Her Thighs
For whatever reason, Khloe likes to photoshop her thighs in most pictures she posts to Instagram. She looks perfectly fine, so we are not really sure why she does it, but she gets very upset whenever anyone points it out.
Lindsay Lohan - Photoshopped Her Booty
Yet another celeb to poorly photoshop themselves. It's painfully obvious that her butt has been shopped. I mean how else would you explain the warped wall behind her. You need to take some Photoshop classes, girl.
Paris Hilton – Drug Purse Tweet
Paris Hilton may be one of the most followed celebrities online, but most of the time she has nothing constructive to say. The self-absorbed celebrity is constantly tweeting about her whereabouts and what she is doing, which is mostly boring and redundant. Some of her tweets just bore people to death, although they have also managed to get her into trouble. In 2010, Paris was arrested for cocaine possession and the evidence was in her Chanel purse. She lied to the authorities, telling them that the purse belonged to a friend. However, she had forgotten that the purse was the first thing she tweeted about that morning. The not so bright celebrity even posted photos of it, making the drug possession case very easy to crack.
Anthony Weiner – Weinergate
Anthony Weiner was an up and coming political success until he made one of the worst social media mistakes of all time. He was caught up in a sexting frenzy when he accidentally tweeted a photo of his private parts for the whole world to see. Even though Weiner is not an actor in Hollywood, the accidental tweeting of his nether regions made him a celebrity overnight. The funny part is that his name is Weiner, which led to the scandal being nicknamed Weinergate. This silly mistake cost him his congress seat in 2011 and he couldn't even make it as mayor of New York City since voters only associate him with his sexting encounters.
Kris Jenner – Insta-Editing
Many fans follow the Kardashian women on Twitter and Instagram since they are always up to something entertaining. However, Kris Jenner broke the Internet the other day when she was caught red handed putting photoshopped images on Instagram. The Kardashian sisters have been accused of filtering their photos, adding features, changing colors, trimming waistlines and other horrid things, but Kris Jenner was caught live on this one. She took snaps of the launch of her new cookbook with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. She put her version of the photos on Instagram and mortified fans who had already seen the original version on Gordon's Instagram. It was cheap of her to smooth out her wrinkles, change the pigment of her skin color, accentuate her busty cut out dress, and change the position of her cookbook. Many fans have hated on her for the cheap act and applauded Gordon for his original version.
Arnold Schwarzenegger – Cutting Costs
Arnie has been up and about since he retired from acting, became the Governor of California, retired again, and then went back to acting. He has billions of fans across the world who fawn over his every move. When he was still Governor, he posted a video on Twitter in which he was wielding what looked like a very large knife. The video was supposed to thank his constituents for the ideas they had contributed for cutting state costs. However, it was not funny when the budget came out with $26 billion deficit. Let's just say he has better odds in Hollywood than in the Governor's office.
Kenneth Cole – Shameless Publicity
Many celebrities put out tweets in an attempt to win more fans, or increase their trending escapades. However, some desperate celebrities out there are going too far while capitalizing on trending hashtags. Kenneth Cole shamelessly attempted to do just that when used the tragic uprising violence in Egypt to market his new spring collection in 2011. His tweet read that the millions in Cairo uproar have heard of his spring collection and added a link with hashtag #Cairo. He removed the tweet and apologized when people retaliated. Cole was on it again in 2013 when he made an inappropriate sales pitch targeting the problems in Syria. He never seems to learn.
Amanda Bynes – Tweets Obama
Most people are of the belief that Amanda Bynes is a bit coo-coo, which is why she gets forgiveness for her outrageous acts and strange behavior. She has said so many wrong things on social media that it's hard to pick out some of the most ridiculous ones. However, she really outdid herself when she was charged with drunk driving and decided to take it up with the president of the United States. She tweeted President Obama asking him to fire the cop who arrested her since she does not drink. She also proceeded to tell him that she does not hit and run. Good to know.
Bow Wow – Drunk Tweets
Speaking of things that you should not do while drunk, Bow Wow learned to not drink and tweet. He learned this lesson the hard way when partying with fellow outlaw, Chris Brown. The two were partying in Miami when Bow Wow tweeted about his face being numb from drinking as he drove his Lamborghini. Not only did he alert the authorities of where he was, he even described the car that they were in. They were both arrested and had to part with huge fines since the evidence against them was overwhelming.
Willow Smith – Bedmate Photo
Willow Smith maybe young and naïve but she has already managed to wreak havoc on social media. This happened when the 13-year-old had a photo of her lying in bed with a 20-year-old go viral like wild fire. This picture caused a massive uproar with many people questioning her parents' parenting skills. It got to a point that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith were being investigated by the Child Services Department. The 20-year-old is apparently a friend of the family, and the picture was innocently taken out of context.
Demi Lovato – Benz’s Are For Kids
Demi Lovato was a sweetheart when she first hit the waves making a large following for herself. However, lately she has turned into a drama queen and there is no telling what she might do next. Recently, Lovato seemed to have misplaced her car, and when she found it, she decided to cause drama in twitter. She was happy that her car was with her dad, and then she proceeded to say that her daddy was silly not to know that Benz's were for kids. We do not even know how to respond to that.
