Want Me To Move ‘Everything’? Guess I’ll Take The Fridge Too.

Given time and resources, petty people like me will come up with the most creative ways to deal revenge on those who have wronged them. OP decided it was time to go nuclear.

OP was a freshman in college and shared an on-campus apartment with three others.

She said that the three-bedroom arrangement was split between four girls with two sharing the master bed and the other two taking the smaller bedrooms.

OP's room also had trouble with the lock where it would often auto-lock if closed.

When they first moved in, the campus had only provided them with the bare necessities. This meant any supplemental things would have to be bought by the tenants themselves.

OP ended up bringing the bulk of the stuff including big-ticket items such as the TV, its stand, a fridge, a loveseat, and a couch. Sounds quite generous if you ask us.

The others brought one or two additional things as well.

OP and the roommate she refers to as 'B' got along well but since she had a larger workload, she wasn't around home often.

A and C on the other hand were not as amicable. They would pester OP for small things and would invite people over without letting the others know. If OP left anything in the living room, they would chuck it back into her room even if she had stepped into the bathroom for 5 minutes.

OP didn't think much of it in the beginning but was starting to get annoyed when they started causing damage to her things.

OP caught A throwing her laptop into her room which was thankfully not damaged.

Her phone however did not share the same fate and ended up with a cracked screen when they not only threw her items in the room but also closed OP's faulty door on them, meaning that it was now locked in.

OP would have gotten the keys but the roommates had chucked them in along with the phone. When OP called the RA to get a copy, she was charged $50 as a fine.

For those thinking it was an honest mistake, OP clarified that it was her roommate A who had discovered the fault in the first place.

OP had the last straw when she had been trying to sleep. Around midnight, she was awoken by A and C and told to move her things from the living room.

When she walked out, she thought she had left some large offending items in the shared area but was shocked to see them pointing to her tennis shoes.

What made it more infuriating was the fact that A and C's shoes were sitting there right alongside hers.

A and C told her that she needed to keep all her items in her room.

OP decided to get pedantic.

'Really? All my stuff?' When the two replied in the affirmative, they didn't realize that they were being recorded by OP for evidence.

OP went to bed and got back from her early lecture. The rest of her housemates were still out for classes and OP decided now was chance.

She called over some friends and moved 'everything' into her room.

This meant the couch, the TV, the TV stand, and the fridge were all hauled into OP's bedroom. OP did graciously give the loveseat to B who asked for it. B also asked for her things to be moved inside as well since she was sick of the others' behavior too.

When OP had moved all her things inside, all that was left was a lone DVD player on the floor and some cooler in the kitchen.

When A and C returned, they were fuming. Rather than admit their faults, they decided to call the RA.

OP simply replayed the recording and proved that the items she had moved were hers.

With irrefutable evidence, there wasn't much the RA could do. She told A and C as much and left. She recommended they apologize but OP said that there had been no apology as of a week.

They could no longer invite friends over since their apartment was practically empty.

OP was feeling rather good about her decision since she could now play video games in her room and didn't have to share fridge space.

Commenters loved her petty revenge but were infuriated on her behalf.

Some felt OP gave them too many strikes.
