Before he was arrested and sentenced to life in prison, Ward Weaver III was featured in an interview in his home. Anna Canzano a local news reporter walked through his house as he tried to prove his innocence. Weaver and Canzano walked right over a concrete slab that Weaver had buried Ashley Pond under.

Her body was located under the concrete in a 55-gallon barrel. In another creepy coincidence, Canzano had spoken with Miranda Gaddis about 2 months after Pond went missing. Her body was also located on Weaver's property, stuffed in a microwave box in his shed.

Video games have a long history of controversy and violence but back in 1995 one unlicensed game took things to a new level of creepy. The game, Hong Kong 1997, released for the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo for American Gamers) had a "game over" screen that was very graphic. When you lose you see what looks to be an actual corpse. The game has gathered and cult following in the decades since its release due to its poor taste and use of copyrighted pictures.

Surveillance video caught a guy standing outside of a woman's house for almost 25 minutes in Winter Garden, Florida. Kevin Thames was videoed lurking around the home, looking into windows while having his genitals exposed. ,

Thames was arrested and charged with attempted burglary but law enforcement said that they "could not charge him with exposing himself because it was only caught on camera and no one witnessed him doing it."

If you don't remember Heavens Gate, they were a cult that committed mass suicide in 1997. Their website is still up and running to this day with the same web design used back in the 90's. I wonder if those people ever made it to the alien spaceship located in the tail of the Hale-Bopp comet.

This creepy video shows the infamous Jeffrey Dahmer having a casual conversation with his father. He talks about how much fast food he's been eating and that she should "start eating at home more."

Dahmer of course, raped, killed, and dismembered over a dozen men over a 13 year period from 1978 to 1991. He regularly practiced necrophilia and cannibalism, also preserving body parts to keep as macabre trophies.

In Chicago, a camera captured this intruder breaking into a home and standing over a couple, watching as they slept on the couch. Pretty freaking creepy.

Nicole Angemi runs a pretty freaky Instagram account. On it, she showcases autopsies, organ dissection, and very gruesome injuries. The pictures are given a sense of humanization by her captions which give a unique insight into death and the human body.

Ricardo López was a very disturbed man that was obsessed with singer Björk. Back in 1996, the 21-year-old started making a video diary that went on for nine months. In these videos, he would give details about his obsession and how angered he was to find out that she was in a relationship with someone else. In his last video, he tells of how he plans to create a mail bomb that sprays acid and would have it delivered to her. At the end of the video, he kills himself. Police would later intercept the mail bomb before anyone could be harmed.

In this video from 1988, you can see an unfinished home burning. You can hear the arsonist in the background of the video whispering eerily in the background. The recording was found in Stockton, California, where police arrested two teenagers that eventually confessed to the fire. One of the teens was linked to at least 27 other fires in the area.

El Blog del Narco is a that shows the real side of Mexico's drug war. It gives viewers a gritty look at the gruesome world of Mexican drug cartels, from their graphic executions to other news that mainstream news sites just won't cover. At least 3 of the websites contributers were killed in 2011. Signs were posted next to their bodies threatening to go after the creators of the website. In 2013 the creator of the website was forced to flee the country.

Benjamin Bennett live-streamed himself sitting completely still and smiling for 4 hours each day in 2014. According to him, it was all for performance art. One day during his stream, a burglar broke into his home. Bennett didn't stop sitting there even though he knew there was someone in his house. He said: "I knew that as long as I didn't react, whatever was going to happen in that situation would make a really amazing video."

In 2011, Stephen McDaniel pleaded guilty to the murder of Lauren Giddings in Georgia. He broke into her apartment and watched her sleep before strangling her to death. He dismembered her body and disposed of it in a dumpster at Mercer University. Before he was considered a suspect, McDaniel was interviewed by WGXA-TV about Giddings' murder. In this interview, the reporter informs him that her body has been found. He looks shocked and simply replies, "I need to sit down."

McDaniel had previously spied on Giddings and recorded his actions.

He was sentenced to life in prison.
