Hey, we’ve all been there.
We’ve all woken up with a banging headache, mouth as dry as the desert, and the imminent need to vomit. We’ve all had those days where we quite literally can’t move out of bed, expect maybe to fetch greasy food that turns out to be a fatal error.
Just usually, we at least wake up in a bed. Even that can’t be said for this party-goer in Ecuador – reportedly visiting “for a birthday”. He was found floating in a shallow lake.
The man, named locally as Jorge Luis Villanueva Anticona, was spotted by shocked local people, who had thought he was dead, while lying submerged in the mud.
They alarmed police, who landed on the scene and acted rapidly to haul him out of the river Mashcon.
Jorge Luis, was then hosed down and taken to clinic by police.
He looked stunned as he awakens to see the cops, saying: 'I didn't do anything.'
As per neighborhood media, he had meandered into the stream for an obscure reason, and subsequent to surrendering attempting to get free, had ecided just to go to sleep.
His close relative, Adela Anticona Rutia, said he had gone to the city of Cajamarca to attend the birthday of a relative.
A source said he had drunk so much that he had been in danger of dying from alcohol poisoning.
He is also believed to have been suffering from severe hypothermia.
