According to the lady's doctors, they discovered a bluish mass in her eye. The operating team, which included an ophthalmologist with more than 20 years of experience, were shocked to see such a discovery. According to them, they had never seen such a case before.

Not only this but according to Specialist trainee ophthalmologist, Rupal Morjaria, 10 additional contact lenses were found in her eye the following day.

Ms. Morjaria says, “None of us has ever seen this before. It was such a large mass. All the 17 contact lenses were stuck together. We were really surprised that the patient didn’t notice it because it would cause quite a lot of irritation while it was sitting there.”
