After 22 years of marriage, a lady says her husband admitted an affair, which helped her uncover her "superpower." Laura Friedman Williams was 47 years old when her husband, whom she had met at university, told her he had been unfaithful.

After her husband's admission, however, author Laura, now 51, had no choice but to kick him out and pursue a divorce.
She dipped her toes into the dating world five months after the breakup, feeling she wanted to make up for the lost time.
She downloaded Tinder and determined to make the most of being alone, telling herself she was free to do whatever she wanted. She had never dated in her 20s.
She told the New York Post: “If you want to sleep with two men on the same day, you can. If you want to have a tryst in the middle of the day, you’re free. The only person who can judge you is yourself. And if you’re fine with it, screw everyone else.”
Laura bedded eight guys she met on dating apps over the next year, and she has plenty of stories to share about her exploits.
Writing in her autobiography She describes steamy afternoons in hotel rooms and midnight booty calls while juggling her sex life and being a mother to three children.
However, she had a couple of events that made her realize what she didn't want from her newfound independence.
Laura returned to a man's flat after meeting him for a lunchtime coffee, where the two slept together.
The parent recalls not being completely immersed in the event as he started round two shortly after.
While she claims the intercourse was voluntary, she afterward realized she wasn't prioritizing her own needs and was instead going through the motions to please someone else.
Laura was able to discover her sexuality in a way she hadn't been able to during her marriage because of this and other events.
She also claims that she discovered how to satisfy men simply by asking them what they needed and enjoyed and that she refused to let her age prevent her from being confident in the bedroom.
Laura said: “I didn’t buy into the theory that because I was older, I was less desirable. Men were very attracted to the fact I was a strong woman who didn’t want anything from them and was calling the shots.”
Laura had to plan with her trysts because she had to juggle school and her wild sex life, but she always found a way around it.
“If I was having a good date and a man would kiss me goodbye, I would tell them, okay, I have two hours. Let’s go back to your place," she said.
While her candor surprised some men, Laura claims that her attitude and the fact that she knew what she wanted to attract the majority of her suitors.
Laura, who is now in a relationship, wants other women to enjoy their sex life, and she believes that good sex can be a route out of grief.
