Woman's Tactic of Telling Husband She's Pregnant Goes Viral

Sammie Hendren, also known as @sammie.hendren, broke the news with her husband Dillon Hendren while snapping photographs in a photobooth on TikTok.

While snapping photographs in a photo booth with her husband, Sammie put her announcement plan into action. As the booth proceeded to capture pictures, his reaction was recorded.

The pair smiled and faced the camera in the first shot, but just before the second photo was taken, Sammie brought out the pregnancy tests and informed her husband that she was pregnant.

Her spouse seemed astonished and inquired if she was "serious" in the second shot.

He smiled broadly, looked through the tests again, and took the third shot.

Sammie explained what the picture strip looked like in a follow-up video and why she chose to tell him the news at the Santa Monica Pier, where they had their first Valentine's Day date.

She told Newsweek that they travel to the pier whenever they get the opportunity to have a date day. Sammie knew Dillon would be completely unaware of her strategy because she adores shooting photographs in the photo booth.

"It was an easy way to surprise him," Sammie said.

They've been dating since 2010, and her idea to use the photo booth to disclose her pregnancy came to her in 2014.

"It's so cool to see it come to be," she said. "The pictures came out perfectly."

According to Sammie, Dillon's reaction to the news was precisely what she expected.

"I knew he was going to be so excited," she said. "He's so ready to be a dad."

The idea and outcome of Sammie's pregnancy announcement were a hit among viewers.

"This is such a cute idea," a viewer commented.

One wrote that it seemed the two will make "great parents."
