This bizarre confrontation has gone viral on social media where one woman is seen berating another woman over something as petty as her sports bra revealing at a public park. The angry woman continues to humiliate Getti and when told that she herself is wearing revealing clothes she loses her mind over it.
Woman Shames TikToker On Her Sports Bra While Exercising At Public Park
An absolutely ridiculous video was filmed showing one woman humiliating another woman and telling her to 'cover up' for she happened to show her sports bra while exercising in the park.
TikTok user Getti (@gettishow) – the woman berated for her sports bra, shared the video of the bizarre confrontation, which began while she was hanging by her legs from a set of monkey bars while using a hula hoop.
The video that was actually filmed by another man shows the woman wearing Nike shorts and a white plain shirt while busy doing her workout. While she is seen hanging upside down, part of her sports bra is seen which ultimately triggers another woman passing by.
The stranger then takes it upon herself to school Getti and berate her for revealing her sportswear.
The clip shows her accusing Getti of being “half naked” in a “family park”, adding: “Everybody around here can see this.”
Furious, Getti then turns to another man standing beside her who is presumably her husband – and says: “Are you OK with this?”
As he tries to handle the situation and asks the woman to leave, she continues to rant. “This is where kids play, this is a place for families,” she says. She then spots Getti’s son filming his mother’s moves and yells about how everyone’s always on “the TikTok.”
“I can’t believe you’re doing this in our neighbourhood park with almost no clothing,” she goes on. “That is totally revealing.”
Trying her best to ignore the rude woman's complaints, Getti keeps doing her exercise, but this only enrages the woman further who then encroaches on her space and grabs the hoop, shouting that it’s “unacceptable”.
“What are you doing?” both of them ask, as Getti jumps down off the bars.
She then gets up in the face of the person filming, who has intervened at this stage.
“Why do you have to wear revealing clothing for working out?” she persistently asks Getti.
The TikTok user flatly responds: “You’re wearing revealing clothing yourself,” which is actually true as the confronting woman is wearing a knee-length skirt and partly sheer blouse.
The woman apparently loses her mind over this and grabs the hula hoop again and launches it across the park, adding: “This is what you can do for a TikTok.”
“Find somewhere else to bare your belly,” she then snaps, causing Getti and her husband to admit defeat and leave the park.
Understandably, Getti described in her video caption how the incident left her “shaken.”
The pathetic confrontation has gone viral with people sharing shock and disgust over what they witnessed.
One person wrote: “Has she never been to a public swimming pool?! Smh.”
“‘Little kids can see you,’ good and they’ll think she’s cool as hell for being able to hula hoop UPSIDE DOWN!!” Another person said.
Someone added: “I could never imagine thinking someone’s stomach is more harmful to a child than her behaviour and language.”
“I can’t believe you didn’t punch her,” a fourth person replied.
Getti tried again to explain that she was just exercising, but the woman wanted to know why she was wearing “revealing clothes.”
“You’re wearing self-revealing clothes,” Getti shot back at the mother, who was wearing a vest over a sleeveless V-neck top and skirt.
The woman then took Getti’s hula hoop from her. “Let me show you what you can do for a TikTok,” she said before tossing it into a lamppost.
“Find another place to expose your belly,” she added.
Getti and Michael were too exhausted at this point to continue with this lame discussion and decided to just leave the park with their son.
Getti posted the video to TikTok on August 29, she said she was “still shocked” by the unprovoked confrontation.
Getti is actually a Hula Hoop instructor and the mom has a following of whooping 1.2 million.
Her TikTok has been viewed 2.4 million times and has received more than 14,000 comments from people who couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
However, few people were convinced the video is staged, with one TikTok user saying it was “very much a skit made.”
“This really isn’t true,” someone else said, while another agreed with me, “This can’t be real.”
But Getti assured in the comments that it was “no joke.”
