Reports suggest a Connecticut mom stabbed her boyfriend after he allegedly looked at her daughter's nudes.

Instead of calling the police on her boyfriend, Trysh Brwon, 31, did what any parent would in this situation. However, things got out of control and now the woman is charged with first-degree assault.

The police arrived at 4 a.m. at an apartment in Bridgeport, CT in the Park Street area.

As the police arrived, they found a man sitting on the sidewalk and shooting and screaming, dripping in blood. He ended up in a Bridgeport Hospital; the same officers also found a woman covered in blood.

Brown says when she woke up she found her pervert boyfriend looking at nude photos of her young daughter on his cellphone.

The woman claims that he hit and this is when she picked up the kitchen knives. She added: “he is a big man.”

Though the whole situation makes it self defense but the issue here is that Brown stabbed the man 8-10 times and now he is in a critical situation.

During her hearing, Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Kevin Dunn advised Superior Court Judge Kevin Doyle to set a high bail for Brown.

“She stabbed him eight to 10 times and he is in critical condition,” Dunn said.

It is now suggested that investigators have found new information that can work in Brown's favor of self-defense claim but it is still under investigation.

Brown's sister has set up a GoFundMe page to help get bail for her sister. The page says that Brown is a victim of domestic violence and she was trying to protect her child.

In a statement on the page, the sister of the defendant states that Trish did what any other parent would’ve done to keep their child safe.

Adding:

She has no prior records. She needs to be free and reunited with her daughter & have Justice brought on her name. Her total bail is 75,000, But we need 10% of that to get her free. The family is doing all we can to help get my sister out.

Family and friends have also started an online trend #freetryshbrown and a petition on change.org.
