Imagine waking up, your only worries are when to eat, sleep, and the joy of running outside.

The dream of snuggling into a cozy bed after earning treats for being a good dog seems perfect for any pup.

However, it's streamer Meow Dalyn who's living this dream life, not your average four-legged friend.

In a fascinating conversation with "The Kyle & Jackie O Show," a popular Australian radio program, Meow Dalyn, a pink-haired individual from the United States, shared her unique lifestyle.

"My name is Meow like a cat, but I am a dog," she told the intrigued hosts.

Adorned with fake dog ears and a collar, Dalyn, who prefers the titles "dog girl" and "e-puppy," openly embraces her identity as a dog, diving headfirst into a lifestyle that many might find unconventional, especially when it comes to how she spends her nights.

Speaking of her nighttime routine, Dalyn shared, "I have pastel blankets and pastel pillows in there," referring to the dog cage where she finds comfort and safety each night.

She mused over the comforting feeling of being in a confined space, pondering whether it makes her feel protected from the world or vice versa, but concluded it's undoubtedly a source of comfort.

Dalyn has captivated over 15,000 Twitch viewers, who tune in to watch her embody canine behaviors, from playing fetch to chewing on bones.

She credits her transition to embodying "big dog energy" to her independence as an adult.

"The wonder that comes with play and just being enchanted with life around you is a beautiful thing," she reflected.

The realization that adulthood didn't require abandoning her playful nature led her to a revelation:

"I figured that once I make my own money and pay my own rent, then I can extra do anything I want - and I wanted to be a dog!"

Interestingly, Dalyn isn't alone in her desire to live as a dog.

In Japan, a man affectionately known as "Good Boy" invested over $15,000 in a hyperrealistic collie costume to live out his dream of being Lassie.

Moreover, a gathering of over 1,000 individuals preferring to identify as dogs rather than humans took place at Berlin's Potsamer Platz railway station, resulting in a playful chaos that led to calls for animal control.

Dalyn also finds joy in the companionship of others who embrace similar lifestyles.

When asked about her relationship status, she explained, "I have handlers".

"[They're] kind of like dog trainers. They feed me, they take me on walks, we practice training, which is one of my favorite things, because I get treats," she said, adding that her snacks are often shredded chicken, biscuits and jerky.

Dalyn even incorporates actual dog food into her meals, creatively enhanced by her handlers with human-friendly ingredients like bone broth to add flavor to otherwise bland fare.

She appreciates her handlers' support in pursuing her canine dreams, remarking humorously on the absence of a financial arrangement for their companionship.

"It's funny I don't have to pay anyone to spend time with me," Dalyn noted, clarifying the platonic nature of their relationship and her view of them as friends who share her passion for puppy play.

Dalyn maintains her canine persona as a daily lifestyle, finding no need to extend this aspect into more intimate areas of her life.

"The dog side of me is an everyday lifestyle," she clarified.

Her hope is that others will also recognize and embrace their inner primal selves, viewing it as a path to feeling more in tune with their humanity.

"I believe there is a primal animal inside of everybody," she stated.

"It's part of our humanity. Acknowledging my primal, animalistic [side] almost makes me feel more human."

Despite facing judgment from those who don't understand her unique perspective, Dalyn remains unfazed, focusing on her happiness and the joy of living in the moment.

"I don't find myself focusing on other people and their reactions toward me because I'm so in the moment of just chasing the ball, being the dog," she explained.

"I want to sit and perform for whoever is my focus."
