One man was seen running wildly down the street in Houston screaming that he had been kidnaped. When the police reached, he told around 30 were being held hostage in the house from where he escaped. The police found, this was a human smuggling operation and rescued dozens of men and a woman wearing nothing but their underpants.

On Thursday night, a man in underpants was seen running down the street claiming he'd been kidnapped.
Upon researching, the police found the house where he was held captive against his will. What was surprising was that there were further 25 men and one woman in the house in nothing but underwear.
Dozens of men and one woman was found locked inside the house in Houston
It was a case of 'human smuggling' and the police immediately took action. All the hostages were rescued, members of the group said they had been locked inside the house for a few days and some even for a week.
The hostages had been picked up in Texas and arrived from countries such as Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and Cuba.
Police say they are waiting for immigration officials to begin their investigation
An officer at the scene told ABC 13: "I think what the suspects did is they undressed and they hid among the other people."
"And so we pulled out the ones that looked clean, that still had their jewelry - most people were dirty and they didn't have jewelry on, these few people did."
The rescued hostages are staying in Ridgemont Elementary School for the time being
The locals have provided them with clothes and they were also given medical checks. One person had minor injuries from falling through an attic and was taken to the hospital.
On Twitter, Houston Police said:
"Southwest officers are at 4800 Raven Ridge. Officers received a report of a male in his briefs running down the street yelling that he had been kidnapped."

"The male advised that thirty more people were being held hostage in the house. Officers made entry and rescued approximately 25 males and 1 female."
"Officers found this was a human smuggling operation and are cooperating with DHS."
"Fort Bend ISD police assisted by opening a nearby school gym so the victims could get out of the cold."
