Later, he and his "Jackass" crew took over MTV with their wild antics - doing things most of us would never do. Seriously, these guys came up with the wildest pranks to ever be on television.

#3 A Family Affair

He then got a spin-off with his family called "Viva La Bam" with his parents becoming just as big of stars as him!

But things took a dark turn when his "Jackass" co-star Ryan Dunn was tragically killed in a drunk driving accident.

#5 Downward Spiral

Bam was so heartbroken by Ryan's death that he began to drink uncontrollably, and was kicked out of many establishments. Oh, and he got into a fist fight with rappers from Iceland.

Bam says it's "impossible to not drink" at this current stage in his life...

#7 Making Progress

His mother April was tired of seeing her son's destruction, so she and Bam joined VH1's "Family Therapy" television show. The two began family therapy in a Los Angeles sober house...giving Bam the opportunity to regain control of his life.
