The Guinness Book of World Records has a lot of records that they keep track of. It’s really amazing to look through the records and see everything that they have official records for. Sometimes it’s amazing that there are even records for some things. You find yourself wondering “why?” quite often when you look through them.
The record book isn’t filled with just crazy, freaky stuff though. They also keep track of a lot of the things that celebrities do. There are many celebs that you probably didn’t know hold world records. I’d even bet that some of the celebs themselves don’t even know they hold world records for some of the things they do.
Do you know who has the most words in a recorded song? Or who took the most selfies in a three minute period? Did you even know that there was a world record for the most frequent clapper? Yes, there actually is. Do you know who it is?

#1 Eminem
In his 2013 song "Rap God" Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem, crammed more than 1,560 words into the 6-minute song. At one point he averaged 6 words per second.
#2 Dwayne Johnson (The Rock)
The Rock took the most selfies with his fans in three minutes. He took 105 of them in London.
#3 Vanna White
Vanna White has co-hosted Wheel of Fortune since 1982, more than 30 years. On May 24, 2013, she was honored with the world record for the most frequent clapper. She clapped more than four million times during her career.
#4 Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel posted the most liked Facebook photo in history. It was a November 2013 photo of him and Paul Walker after Walker had died. The photo got 7.9 million likes and was shared nearly 500,000 times.
#5 Ellen DeGeneres
She posted a selfie with A-List celebs on her Twitter account and it was retweeted over a million times in just one hour. That makes it the most retweeted message ever on Twitter. In total it has been shared over 3 million times as of December of 2016. Ryan Seacrest actually took the pic.

Betty White has the longest Hollywood career of any female entertainer. The comedian has worked consistently since her debut way back in 1939.

One Direction holds many world records. They are the first group to debut in the USA at #1 for their first four albums, they have the most Twitter followers for a music group, they have the most subscribers for a band on You Tube and they were the first British group to debut #1 in the USA with a debut album. The Beatles didn't even do that!

Jennifer Lawrence is the highest grossing action actress in history. The first Hunger Games movie alone earned $1.52 billion worldwide. The complete series earned $2.9 billion globally.

Harrison Ford is the highest grossing actor in the USA. Over his 50 year career, his movies have made $4.7 billion in the United States and $6 billion world wide.

Christopher Lee is the oldest person to ever record lead vocals on a heavy metal track. He is also the oldest musician to chart on Billboard at 91 years old. Lee also holds the record for the most sword fights in a movie career and is the oldest person to voice a character in a video game.
