I get it, at some point fame gets to your heads and you could forget how to interact with normal people.
Celebrities try and refrain from letting their egos govern their interactions with fans, and occasionally sign autographs or wave to the fans.
Unfortunately, some rude celebs are terrible and blatantly disrespect people who unconditionally adore them.
Take a look at a few such celebs:
Kim Kardashian, who literally only has a career because of her fans, sent her ex Kris Humphries texts calling her fans “pathetic,” “gullible,” “stupid imbeciles” and “boring little nobodies.” Now, at King Kanye’s behest, she refuses to sign too many autographs.
Pattinson, whom you may know from a certain film series, openly mocked his fans in 2013. He imagined they have nothing better to do with their life than “sit in front of their computers and comment on anything having even remotely to do with Twilight.” Ouch.
An industry insider leaked this damning story about the pop star: “She did autographs and pics and was all smiles until she got into the elevator. And as soon as the doors shut she said, ‘I hope they all f***ing die.'”
Although she insists she’s still “Jenny from the Block,” she was reported as ignoring fans while visiting the Bronx and calling their homes a “sh*thole.” She also once got a maid fired for asking for an autograph.
When one 30 Seconds to Mars fan told Leto in an autograph line that he had a great concert that night, Leto told him, “I signed your shit, now f*ck off!”
This child never fails to surprise us with his antics. He has spit on fans, called one young woman a “beached whale,” snubbed a superfan with Down Syndrome, and kept audiences waiting for two hours to see him in concert.
Del Rey blatantly snubbed fans at LAX in 2003, ignoring several autograph-seekers while looking for a cab. As she sang on “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood:” “No one alive can also be an angel.”
Kylie Jenner apparently doesn’t feel it necessary to pay back her fans with autographs. When approached by a few tween fans at a West Hollywood restaurant in April 2016, she snapped at them and made them cry.
Despite paying $2500 for a meet and greet with Britney during her Las Vegas residency, many fans were disappointed to get only a few seconds with the pop star. Fans had also been told before the meet and greet that they were not allowed to hug or touch Britney.
There have been many stories of Tobey Maguire acting like a brat, but he reached peak brattiness when he got several security guards fired for asking for autographs during the filming of Spiderman 2.
