10 Things We Learned After Watching The Game Of Thrones' Season 6 Premiere
If you haven’t seen it yet, Game Of Thrones is pretty much the most popular show since the dawn of time. What a terrific start to season 6! The scene opens with Ghost's mournful howls for his master - yes, Jon Snow is still dead.
Whether you’re an avid watcher (or reader!) of the series, or you’ve never even heard of it, check out these things you can learn from Game Of Thrones.
#1
1. "I saw him in the flames fighting at Winterfell."
Jon is as dead as we last saw him in the season 5 finale. Ser Davos finds his body. His brothers mourn his death. Enters Melisandre who is thoroughly confused as to how he could die. And as we prepare for her to conjure up a spell and bring Snow back to life, she makes her exit.

2. "Your pain will be paid for 1,000 times over."
The scene switches to Winterfell where Ramsay 'Rapist' Bolton is mourning his lover, Myranda. But don't you go all soft on the man - he orders her body to be fed to the hounds. Apparently, letting the dogs go hungry is a greater sin than all his own combined.
#3
3. "Lady Sansa, I offer my services once again."
And not very far away, Sansa and Theon are still running for their lives. No, they didn't die after that seemingly suicidal jump last season. As they try to fend off their captors (and the hounds!), enters Brienne - and I must tell you, I have never seen a delivery so powerfully executed!
Brienne offers her servitude to Sansa, recites the oath that she took years ago to protect Lady Stark's children. And suddenly, there's hope. For Sansa. Even for Theon as the Stark girl reciprocates Brienne's oath with her own.

4. "Fuck prophecy, fuck fate, fuck everyone who is not us."
Because every problem ends in fucking. As Jamie vows revenge and promises Cersei to take back what's taken from them, we are left wondering the fate of the Lannisters.
#5
5. "Sinners don't make demands. They make confessions."
Margaery Tyrell is still rotting in the prison of the High Sparrow.
6. "When's the last time you left this palace?"
And the first death of season 6 gets revealed. We won't name the poor soul who got betrayed by his own but here, take a hint: Dorne!
#6
7. "Whoever you are, wherever you go, someone wants to murder you."
Khaleesi has fled Meereen. Tyrion and Varys realise the urgency of the situation as they behold the utter political chaos Danaerys has left behind.
8. "They have her."
Ser Jorah and Daario are looking for Khaleesi, and Jorah's greyscale is not making the graveness of the situation look any less terrifying. Khaleesi, however, is being held captive by the Dothraki and her fate rests in some really risky hands.
#7
9. "See you tomorrow."
Too bad, Arya can't. The blind Stark girl is begging in the streets of Braavos, unable to fight her way out of it.
#8
10. "You can bring the Red Woman with you if you like."
Jon is still dead. But the shocking end to the episode spins the damned world off its axis. As the frame zooms in on Melisandre, we are shown what the episode 'The Red Woman' really stands for.
As she drops her robes and lets her flawlessness shine through the blackness of the North, everything changes. Or, ages. We will leave it at that.
