Hey, apparently, bacon, when consumed in moderate proportions (not like a million pounds a day) helps the body lower your blood pressure AND your blood sugar levels AND it also prevents or lessens the effects of diabetes, heart disease, stroke and heart attack. Who knew that frying a pig in grease could be so beneficial. We all need bodily balance or we'd tip over, right?
