When you’re one the most photographed families in the world – not every shot is going to be picture perfect. What makes a bad photo from this family even more entertaining, is how closely they guard their self-image and their careers are completely dependent on them looking good.
They have kept their social media crowns firmly in place by editing a lot of photos in the past. They also have powerful PR teams, headed by their ‘Momager’ Kris, to keep bad news from breaking. Yet, like they say – a picture tells a thousand words and these are the photos they want to bury completely.
#1 Kim’s Disappearing Butt
Kim’s butt is one of the most talked about on the planet, so when it went AWOL in this snap she posted, many questioned what was going on. One month after her Paris robbery, Kim reused her Disney Princess Jasmine Halloween costume for some playtime with her daughter, North. Then conspiracy theorists went into overdrive accusing her of ‘faking’ the entire robbery so she could get a butt reduction. Yes, seriously.
#2 Kylie’s Embarrassing Throwback
No one wants old, embarrassing photos of themselves as a child where they're pulling faces to surface.
But that is what Kim Kardashian did to wish her half-sister Kylie Jenner a happy 17th birthday.
In the five snaps posted to Instagram, the youngest Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is seen opening her mouth wife and also holding straws in her mouth Walrus style.
Kim, who is coming out with a book of selfies soon called Selfish, tends to only post flattering photos of herself.
But at least her comment was kind.
The 33-year-old wife of rapper Kanye West captioned the first shot - where Kylie was holding a hand up to her head model style - 'To my baby sister on her 17th birthday...I was 17 when you were born and every day you have brought me such joy!'
Now the teenager has a strong, protective hold on her own image and is rarely seen appearing anything but picture perfect – these snaps are a reminder of the long-gone Kylie. To celebrate her 17th birthday, Kylie threw a lavish birthday party attended by her family, Justin Bieber, The Game and her then-boyfriend, Tyga.
#3 Kim Forgets North In A Hotel
In 2014, Kim suffered just this when she appeared to have left North behind in a Paris hotel as she strutted in front of the paparazzi. Outside the hotel, it appeared Kim didn’t realize she had left her daughter until she reached her waiting car. She then looked around very confused before returning to the hotel to pick up her 3-year-old.
#4 Kris’ Epic Photoshop Fail
Mama Kardashian (alias: Kris Jenner) is in a bit of hot water: she's been caught unabashedly photoshopping her Instagrams. Who wore it best: mother or daughter?
As Radar Online points out, a week ago, Gordon Ramsay met Kris Jenner as part of some sort of promotion for her new cookbook In the Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites. He posted a photo of the two of them. Six days later, Kris posted an almost identical photo – the key word here being "almost."
At least Kris smeared petroleum jelly all over the lens on Gordon's face too. That was generous of her.
The photo became a hilarious game of Spot the Difference. The Kardashians have been accused of using Photoshop too much in the past but Kris has really gone overboard with this example.
#5 Blac Chyna and Rob’s “Tasteless” Pregnancy Shoot
If you’ve got it, flaunt it!
There was something about Rob and Blac Chyna’s pregnancy photo shoot that didn’t sit well with fans and many called the shoot ‘unclassy’ and ‘tasteless’.
#6 Kanye Walks Into A Pole
This moment represents a low point for all of us: the cameraman for failing to capture the moment of collision, then running back excitedly after it had passed; Kim Kardashian for waking up this morning and dressing herself like a pregnant Morticia Addams; all of us, who came here because we thought it might be funny to see Kanye West run into a pole (final verdict: not as funny as I thought it would be, though it's hard to say how funny it might have been in the hands of a skilled videographer); Kanye West for running into a pole.
Walking with Kim through Beverly Hills in the afternoon, Kanye walked straight into a pole, which hurt his head as he doubled over in his wife’s arms.
A few minutes after that pole came out of nowhere and bit him on the nose, West burst out of the restaurant he and Kardashian were eating in and began screaming frantically, miserably at a photographer to stop photographing him, which makes the whole scene even worse, somehow.
Clearly still angry from the incident, TMZ reported Kanye later stormed out a restaurant, shouting at the paparazzi, “Don’t take a-f*****g-nother photo man. All of you motherf*****s stop it, man!”
#7 Kourtney Drunk At Kendall’s Birthday Party
There’s nothing worse than a drunken toilet selfie making it’s way online and Kourtney knows this trauma all too well.
Khloe! Kourtney Kardashian got the surprise of a lifetime when sister Khloe Kardashian filmed her on Snapchat peeing! Kourt was obviously tipsy in the clip, taken at Kylie Jenner’s birthday party.

The look on Kourtney’s face is a mix of shock and well – drunkenness. Khloe being Khloe she then uploaded it to Snapchat for her 150,000 followers.
Poor tipsy Kourtney was surprised by Khloe and a friend, who was laughing hysterically! “Did you know you’re peeing on Snapchat,” Khloe yelled. “What the f**k!” Kourtney yells back!
#8 Kim Not Enjoying The Party
If this picture doesn’t scream High School Prom, were not sure what does. Try to disregard her apparent deathlock grip on the bottle, the vicious distaste of all things alcohol, and such bitter disgust she can’t even keep her eyes open. We’ve all been there, right?
This throwback photo of Kim forcing Grey Goose vodka down her neck reminds us of the times before she became an international name.
Fans also pointed out this throwback picture shows Kim with a different shaped nose.
She revealed, “I’ve never had my nose done. I always want to get my nose done… I went to the doctor, I had them take the pictures, he showed me what it would look like and it just didn’t – I wouldn’t look the same.”
#9 Kim’s Pregnancy Feet
Despite being heavily pregnant, Kim Kardashian's love for high heels cannot be tamed.
The 32-year-old's feet were so swollen that she barely managed to squeeze them into the footwear.
Puffy, her ankles were also clearly suffering, even appearing severely pinched in the stylish shoes.
During her pregnancy with North, Kim had a bad reaction to her new hormones and feet that swelled in size. In season 11 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim revealed that she was having trouble with her pregnancy. She revealed, “(The doctor) says he thinks it’s the Preeclampsia coming back.” Preeclampsia is a pregnancy complication that involves high blood pressure.
#10 Kylie Gives Herself Extra
Fans were not letting Kylie get away with this “curvaceous” photo on Instagram. They pointed out how the jeans were stretched and that the size of the pockets and belt loops were enough to prove she had been digitally enhanced.
#11 Kendall’s Pepsi Advert
This Pepsi commercial of Kendall is quite baffling. Perhaps it’s the fact that a quintessential “model” figure is promoting a beverage that is known to give you the reverse effect, or because Pepsi has used another commercial to attempt to solve our political and social quandaries through their product.
When Kendall landed the Pepsi contract it was supposed to be her biggest modelling job of the year. Unfortunately, the internet had other plans and within 24-hours the “tone deaf” advert was pulled from being online. Fans were angered as scenes showed Kendall join a protest march (although it’s not quite clear what the protest is about) and then she hands a cold Pepsi to a police officer. The Black Lives Matter movement said it was insensitive to those who had lost their lives at the hands of police brutality.
#12 The Double Chin Double Take
When someone thinks of the Kylie Jenner the last image that formulates in their mind is probably a double chin. In all fairness, the only time you ever really catch such an unfortunate circumstance likely comes from a string of bad luck and unfortunate timing from a photographer.
#13 The Picture….It BURNS!
Like several pictures in our lineup, this particular photograph has “Cringe-worthy” written all over it. There’s no amount of makeup that could cover up those sunburns, and no amount of hypnosis to erase this image burned in all of our minds. Sunburns happen to all of us, but unlike most of the peons, Kim’s every move is under neighbourhood watch. More power to Kim for clearly embracing the third-degree burn heard around the world
#14 The Most “Cringe-Worthy” Photo Goes To…
Pictured here is Kim’s longtime Makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic applying body makeup to Kim’s rear end. If you have any insight into Kim’s assets, then you can probably guess that there is a lot of surface area to be covered on her backside.
#15 Deep Purple…
This flash to the past etches an image in our mind of what these two used to look like, needless to say things certainly have changed. The rosy red cheeks coupled with bright purple eyeshadow is certainly one way to play it… we are going to go out on a limb here and venture to guess the makeup artist for this fiasco was fired immediately afterwards. Kris may have had something to do with his/her release as well.
