It's pretty much human nature to go through life telling harmless white lies here and there. I've probably already told two or three small lies today and it's not even lunchtime.
Oftentimes, our own insecurities get in the way of being completely honest with the people we've chosen to spend the rest of our lives with. That being said, a buildup of dishonesty is a recipe for disaster.
That's why these 16 people who admitted to their fibs may want to rein in their desire to bend the truth.
#1 I told my husband i cheated on him .
#2 I've asked for a vacation day next week and didn't tell my husband .

#4 The first time in a while i lied to my wife.
#5 I lie to my wife about getting home late.
#6 I lied to my husband about how many men i have slept with to seem more experienced .

I'd like to think that a good majority of these lies, if found out by their spouses, wouldn't lead to the signing of divorce papers. (Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.)
