Tigers have been spotted around some villages in southern Bangladesh, but we cannot blame the animals for these attacks as it's their in their instinct to be curious and aggressive at times.

#3 The Attack

Hashmot, now 40 years-old, was clawed by a tiger who tore a big chunk of skin and flesh off his face. Hashmot remembers screaming very loud during the attack, which drew the attention of fellow fishermen nearby.

#4 Scared The Tiger

Luckily for him, his colleagues were able to scare the tiger away by making loud sounds with their paddles.

#5 Couldn't Save His Face

He was rushed to the local hospital, where doctors made it obvious that it was a life-threatening injury and that they would't be able to save his face.

#6 Hiding

Hashmot uses a handkerchief to hide his face as he has been bullied by some villagers. These constant humiliations made him avoid spending too much time outside of his house, but he thinks that it is time to show himself to the world.

#7 20 Years Later

A father of three, Hashmot has learned to live with his new face and wants to continue having a normal life, trying to be a good role model for his kids.
